AEW announced Wednesday on Twitter that the first World Title defense will take place during the promotion’s third television episode on TNT.
AEW’s third TV episode will take place live from The Liacouras Center on the Campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, Wednesday, October 16 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm ET.
The winner of Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page at the All Out PPV on Saturday, August 31 will become the first AEW inaugural World Champion.
The announcement of this match comes ahead of tickets for this show going on sale this Friday, August 16 beginning at 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT.
AEW announced on Tuesday a match between Shawn Spears and Jon Moxely is set to take place during the promotion’s second TV episode.
It should be noted that tickets for the third TV episode go on sale the same day and time as the second episode, which takes place in Boston, MA on October 9.
