PWInsider is reporting that the next WWE event in Saudi Arabia will take place on Thursday, October 31. The event will emanate from Riyadh at the King Saud University Stadium.
WWE’s last event from the country was WWE Super ShowDown, which featured Undertaker defeating Goldberg. WWE faced criticism for this event for flying Natalya and Alexa Bliss over for a potential match only to have it canceled by the Saudi Arabian government.
This is the fourth show in the second year of a 10-year deal WWE has with Saudi Arabia. The last event, WWE Crown Jewel, held in Riyadh last November was massively criticized by the news media because it took place immediately after the Saudi Arabian government had Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post journalist, murdered.
