NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly was pulled out of scheduled matches at EVOLVE, which were to take place this weekend in New York City.
No reason was given as to why O’Reilly was pulled from the event. O’Reilly was also pulled out of NXT UK’s television taping at the Download Festival on June 14 due to a back injury he suffered during the tag team ladder match at NXT TakeOver XXV.
O’Reilly was supposed to team with Roderick Strong to take one JD Drake and Anthony Henry at EVOLVE 129 on Saturday. On Sunday, O’Reilly was supposed to take on Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 130.
Bobby Fish was also pulled from these events due to injury, but Fish will still be there for his meet and greet appearances.
The medical man told me my back is still hurt so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend @DownloadFest this year. Im sorry to all the great UK fans, believe me I’m gutted to be missing @Tool but at least now @rikbugez has an actual chance of winning the air guitar contest.
