“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”

Elias greets the crowd, and they boo him. Elias says earlier today he talked to Anthony Davis. Elias asked why he wanted to move to Los Angeles. Davis told Elias that he thinks he is a piece of garbage and wants to be surrounded by garbage. The only way to do that is to move to a city where the people are more toxic than the air. Elias would rather be anywhere but LA, but he was invited by Baron Corbin. Elias takes his jacket off and reveals a referee’s shirt.

Seth Rollins attacks him from behind with a steel chair. Rollins hits him a few more times with the chair. Rollins says he is done playing games after everything he’s been through with Brock Lesnar. Corbin has to find himself a guest referee, but this is a message for anyone considering the position. That’s the first and last warning if you side with Corbin. Rollins doesn’t care what was promised to them, the chair is waiting on the other side. Rollins then walks off.

The Miz makes his entrance with his George Mizanin shirt on. Elias is getting to his feet, so Miz hits him with a Skull Crushing Finale. Lashley gets in the ring and spears Elias. Cesaro makes his entrance and gives Elias a Cesaro Swing. Ricochet then comes out and hits a Codebreaker on Elias. Finally, Braun Strowman comes out and hits a Running Powerslam.

Roman Reigns is live on the show later tonight. Seth Rollins will also take on Daniel Bryan. Rollins has never defeated Bryan. Bryan and Rowan are seen coming into the arena.

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will confront Lacey Evans later tonight.

-Commercial Break-

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. The crowd chants her name. Lynch says The Man has come around and calls out Lacey Evans. Week after week she has had to look at Evans’ dopey head drone on about what she deserves, but Lynch agrees with her. Next time Evans comes within striking distance of The Man, she’ll get exactly what she deserves. Evans will do whatever it takes to get ahead and curry favor backstage, but she’ll do the people a favor by kicking her ass all over Los Angeles.

Lacey Evans’ music hits, and she comes out to the stage. Evans says nobody cares about Lynch. Lynch has it all wrong. Evans makes her mad because Lynch doesn’t understand her. Lynch makes fun of the cadence of her voice. Evans says she’s a tall drink of water in a pretty outfit and classy hat, but deep down her flawless image is a tough-as-nails woman who has been through things even The Man couldn’t comprehend. Lynch asks if this is the time she tries to pluck on people’s heartstrings. Evans says they’re in Hollywood and should have a movie made about her. She’s not just a lady… she’s a real United States Marine. She does it all with dignity and grace. That’s what the Women’s Division deserves.

Lynch says she knows Evans’ story, which makes it harder to figure out why she does what she does with attacks from behind. Lynch says Evans is a pile of trash. Evans says it’s what WWE needs. They need a legitimate, confident, classy lady, not some nasty like Lynch. Lynch is beatable. Evans knows because she already cost her a title. Lynch then gives her a Bexploder. Lynch then steals Evans’ hat and wears it out.

We’ll hear from Roman Reigns about losing to Shane McMahon later on.

We go back to the tunnel area of the Staples Center. RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival are walking around. They then go into Shane McMahon’s VIP Lounge. McMahon is in there with Drew McIntyre.

Charly Caruso asks Baron Corbin if he’s scrambling to find a new referee since Elias is out. Corbin says he’s got a new pick and will reveal it on The Kevin and Sami Show. Rollins then attacks him from behind with a steel chair. Rollins says he has more work to do.

The Viking Raiders will be in action, next.

-Commercial Break-

Smackdown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out to the stage. Bryan says he understands why the McMahon Family asked him to come as a Wild Card because RAW and LA suck. LA is the smog capital of America, but it’s also filled with ignorant and impotent people. They are here to lift them up out of the smog and excite them. Bryan says they’ll show why they are the greatest WWE tag team in history. Bryan tells the impotent masses to prepare to be excited.

The Viking Raiders make their entrance and stare down Bryan and Rowan.

The Viking Raiders vs. a local team

Erik destroys the first jobber before tagging in Ivar. They soon hit the Viking Experience to defeat the local team.

We look at the fans at ringside, and WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth is at ringside in disguise with Carmella. A bunch of RAW low card talents run down to get him. R-Truth goes under the ring, and they pull Titus O’Neil from under the ring. R-Truth then runs away.

McMahon says Slater walked in like a man and will let him walk out like a man. Slater then leaves. McIntyre then follows after him.

Slater is on the phone with his wife when McIntyre says has to do something for Slater. McIntyre says he knows Slater’s family. McIntyre takes some money out, but he drops it. Slater goes to pick it up, and McIntyre blindsides him. McIntyre is pulled off. The Revival pockets all the money.

The Sami and Kevin Show w/ special guest Baron Corbin

Kevin Owens welcomes everyone to the show and apologizes to Sami Zayn that the new graphics are not updated. Owens then does the long intro for Baron Corbin.

Replays are shown of Seth Rollins viciously attacking Brock Lesnar two weeks ago at WWE Super ShowDown. Then footage is shown of Rollins attacking Sami Zayn on RAW. Corbin gets in the ring, and Zayn says this is a safe space, unlike WWE in general. They saw what already happened to Elias and what happened to him last week. Zayn says he was a licensed referee and was still attacked by Rollins. For that reason, he’s withdrawing any eligibility to be a referee at Stomping Grounds. Owens also withdraws his name in solidarity. Zayn says they still want to hear who is the guest referee.

Baron Corbin says he has a lot of fantastic options. People lined up out the door to be the guest referee. Corbin says he picked someone who was born to count to three: EC3. EC3 comes out in a referee shirt, but he’s attacked from behind by Seth Rollins with a steel chair. Rollins annihilates EC3 with the steel chair, bending it over his back. Corbin cannot believe it. Corbin accuses Rollins of taking opportunities from an up and coming superstar.

The New Day comes out to the stage and looks at EC3, who is motionless on the stage. Zayn says they’re not even Wild Cards and shouldn’t be here. Zayn tells them to leave the building. Kofi Kingston says he’s the WWE Champion, so what that means is he goes where he wants when he wants. Kingston will bring his boys because that’s what the crowd wants. Owens says he should worry about the fact that the WWE Championship will be leaving his side. If it’s not Dolph Ziggler this Sunday, it’ll be Owens. Kingston says Owens failed to beat him at Money in the Bank. As far as Dolph Ziggler is concerned, he has him right where he wants him in a Steel Cage. No more sneak attacks. It’ll just be him and Ziggler. After they go to war, the referee will grab his hand and tell the world that he’s still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Corbin says they don’t want to be the special guest referee, but he challenges them to a match to beat them back to Smackdown. Xavier Woods says that sounds like a challenge, but if only they had a WWE official to sanction this match. They point at the unconscious EC3 to be the referee. They hold his limp body up, and the crowd actually chants EC3. They ask if he’s ok and shake his head in the affirmative. Kingston then mimics EC3’s voice to sanction the match. They then drop his lifeless body.

-Commercial Break-

We go backstage to the trainer’s room to see AJ Styles in there. Styles has been cleared. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows walk in the room in white jackets pretending to be doctors. Styles says he was thinking about them. Three years ago they made their debuts in the Staples Center. Styles says they were cool in Japan and now they’re in WWE having classic matches. Styles then says they got comfortable making money. Styles asks when is the last time they won a match or were on RAW. When’s the last time they were on WWE? They need to get serious. Styles misses the old Gallows and Anderson. Anderson says they have a match against The Usos. They’ll show how serious they are when they beat them.

Heyman says he’s not comfortable being out here with Seth Rollins smashing people with a steel chair all night long. Heyman makes it clear that he is not the special guest referee at Stomping Grounds. If Baron Corbin offered the position, he’d respectfully decline. You’d have to be a dumbass to accept the job. The moment you accept it, you’ll be on the receiving end of a beating by Rollins with a steel chair. That’s why he thought of this: what do the Lakers and Rollins have in common? They both traded away their balls. Heyman teases that Brock Lesnar is here, but maybe not. Maybe Sunday. Maybe next Monday. Heyman says he doesn’t know and the crowd doesn’t know. Most importantly, the soon to be former reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Seth Freakin’ Rollins. Heyman then throws the microphone down.

It was hot out there, but McMahon says he’s too hot. He’s Mr. Fahrenheit. McMahon will not accept the challenge. The man Reigns should be concerned with is Drew McIntyre.
