WWE has issued a statement on behalf of Dylan Miley, who portrays Lars Sullivan on television, for racist and homophobic remarks he made before signing with the company.
“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”
The apology, released to SI.com, is due to several racist, homophobic, and offensive comments he made on the forum Bodybuilding.com. The statements were unearthed in November 2018 by a Reddit user and have since found new life after Sullivan debuted on the main roster on the RAW after WrestleMania this past April.
Big E and Kalisto are two WWE Superstars that have spoken out about Sullivan’s comments in the wake of the controversy.
Many are aware. If true, he has to bear the albatross of being a bigot & working in a company that is now filled with minorities.
