The Wrap has an exclusive report about All Elite Wrestling’s imminent partnership with WarnerMedia for a television deal.
The deal, which is being described as “virtually done”, will have AEW airing weekly episodes starting in the fall on TNT. AEW President Tony Khan and some of the talent on the roster are expected at WarnerMedia’s upfronts — an event where upcoming fall television is previewed — taking place at Madison Square Garden.
AEW will be releasing the information next Wednesday, May 15 to select media an hour before the upfronts begin.
Wrestleview had previously reported that AEW was in advanced talks with WarnerMedia, but the negotiations had yet to be made clear. AEW will present it’s Double or Nothing event live from Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 25.
