WWE has confirmed the recipient of the 2019 Warrior Award.
Sue Aitchison, who has worked in the corporate office of WWE for thirty years, will receive the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. This was first reported by The Stamford Advocate.
Aitchison was instrumental in developing WWE’s relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a partnership which has seen over 6,000 children have their wishes granted. Make-A-Wish honored Aitchison in 2016 with the Chris Greicius Award. She also is responsible for WWE’s WrestleMania Reading Challenge.
Dana Warrior, the widow of WWE Hall of Famer The Ultimate Warrior, will present Aitchison with the Warrior Award. The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place Saturday, April 6 live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
