Current WWE Smackdown Live star Rey Mysterio was the Honorary Pace Car Driver at Sunday’s Auto Club 400 race held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.
The Auto Club Speedway posted a picture to Twitter with Mysterio standing in front of the Toyota Camry Pace Car.
Mysterio posted to his Instagram a picture of himself with NASCAR Driver Daniel Suárez holding one of Mysterio’s masks. Suárez drove the No. 41 Ford Mustang on Sunday and came in at 13th place.
We had previously reported WWE posted a video announcing he was set to drive the Pace Car for the 400-mile Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stock car race.
