WWE will be taping television ahead of time due to the Christmas Eve/Christmas and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day holidays over the next two weeks.
RAW will be airing live tonight from Sacramento and the company plans to tape at least two hours of additional footage to air next Monday night for Christmas Eve (December 24). The expectation is that they will be pre-taping a lot of footage as well.
Smackdown will air live tomorrow night from Fresno, with tapings for next week’s show falling on Christmas (December 25) taking place afterwards. We have not received official word on how they plan to handle 205 Live and Main Event tapings.
Regarding the New Year’s holiday, WWE will be taping RAW on December 28 in Detroit to air on December 31. The company will also be taping Smackdown Live on December 29 in Pittsburgh to air the following week on January 1.
