In a new interview with Sam Roberts of Sirius XM, Smackdown Live star Daniel Bryan revealed that it is a “90 percent-plus” chance that he will re-sign with WWE when his contract expires with the company on September 1.
“I think at this point it would be 90-plus percent, It’s very likely I’ll re-sign with WWE.”
It was noted that the interview was taped back on August 6, although it was released as part of Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast series on Thursday.
Bryan did note also that he hadn’t re-signed with WWE as of the podcast recording and that negotiations would take a few more weeks to complete.
Bryan is scheduled to wrestle The Miz on Sunday’s SummerSlam PPV live from Brooklyn.
