If you missed it in our recap, during today’s NXT Conference Call with Paul “Triple H” Levesque, a question was asked about Neville and his current status with WWE.
The question, which focused on the new NXT UK brand and why Neville would be a great fit, didn’t exactly shed any new light on his current whereabouts.
Triple H said he wasn’t “100% positive” about Neville’s current status with the company and added he would have to look into that. He did add that Neville would be a perfect fit with the current goals of the NXT UK brand and put over his past work in 205 Live.
Neville has been off WWE television since last October and has not wrestled at any live events ever since. While speculation ran heavy in the weeks after his sudden departure from television, wrestling media reports indicated he wasn’t thrilled with how things were being booked as part of the 205 Live brand when Enzo Amore was champion.
