While retweeting a classic double-team move featuring The Hardy Boys from their early days in the WWE, Matt Hardy revealed he’s battling some serious lower back issues.
Hardy stated he recently discovered his lower back and pelvis have started fusing together, citing leg drops off the top rope during his career as the likely culprit.
This maneuver was called EVENT OMEGA..
And is most likely the reason that I’ve recently learned that my lower back & pelvis have started fusing together. https://t.co/FzYebvIIc0

Earlier this week, Hardy sent out a cryptic tweet thanking fans for support over his long pro wrestling career. This led some to believe that he could be retiring soon.
To all that supported me in the independents & OMEGA..
To the fans of Team Xtreme..
To the Mattitude Followers..
To the OUTSPOKEN fans who brought me back in 2005..
To the people who backed me when I was REINCARNATED in pro wrestling..
To the #WOKEN Warriors..
THANK YOU. pic.twitter.com/YkEILcoZh8

Hardy also retweeted this comment over the weekend.
Hey Matt. I know you love doing this, and your fans do, and it's hard to have an identity outside of wrestling sometimes when it's all that you know. But, it's okay to walk away, and you won't be ill-judged for it.
