The 1000th episode of Smackdown is scheduled for October 16 in Washington, DC.
According to PWInsider, WWE has already started preliminary ideas for the event.

WWE is featuring a video from the recent San Diego Comic Con and fans doing cosplay of WWE stars at the event, including former RAW Tag Team Champion Nicholas who captured the one half of the championships with Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34.
