Following MLW’s Battle Riot event TV tapings in Queens last Thursday night, Rich Swann was taken to a local hospital with what was believed to have been a concussion.
Swann was injured during a tag team match tagging with ACH against Teddy Hart and Davy Boy Smith Jr. Swann hit his head on the guardrail during a routine spot.
Swann was scheduled to appear at this Sunday’s Impact Wrestling Slammiversary PPV in a Four-Way match against Rey Fenix, Johnny Impact and Taji Ishimori.
Impact Wrestling has confirmed they are aware of Swann’s condition and it is said they are working on a replacement for Swann if he is not able to complete on Sunday in Toronto. As of this report there has been no official diagnosis and no official statement from Impact Wrestling regarding Swann’s condition or status for Sunday.
