Paul Heyman posted the following long Facebook post over the weekend on his Heyman Hustle page, teasing a potential match-up between WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. The long Facebook post by Heyman was done in character and came off more like a written version of one of Heyman’s in-ring promos to hype up Brock Lesnar as has been seen in recent years. Heyman also teased in the post the possibility of Lesnar returning to fight in the UFC, which has been heavily rumored for months.
Lashley responded to Heyman on Twitter with the following.
I never ducked @BrockLesnar in college. I never had the chance to meet him earlier in @WWE. Never was in same #MMA organization. Now we're both here again in #WWE. I'm ready. Let's do it. I'd LOVE to fight Brock. Take that any way you want!

Roman Reigns, who will be facing Lashley as part of the main event #1 Contenders Match at Extreme Rules on July 15 in Pittsburgh to determine Lesnar’s next challenger, responded to Lashley on Twitter with the following.
This isn’t a college mat or an octagon. This is the squared circle, aka My Yard. So do yourself a favor Bob, don’t assume you’ll make it out of #ExtremeRules. And @HeymanHustle come say all this at #RAW. Please. https://t.co/1CWo6GHLhx
