To follow up on reports Tuesday afternoon regarding Tazz (real name Peter Senerca) and his departure from WWE, PWInsider is reporting that Tazz gave notice a few weeks ago and said he needed to recharge his batteries. He was spotted saying his goodbyes at TV on Monday with Stephanie and Shane McMahon with sources saying he left “the right way.” Tazz’s contract with WWE expired at the end of Tuesday. There had been discussions about a new deal, but Tazz made the call to leave and was not let go by the company. He reportedly offered to do WrestleMania if they needed him so he didn’t put them in a bad position.
