WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque held his quarterly conference call with members of the wrestling media on Wednesday to preview this Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: Chicago live special on WWE Network.

Triple H largely puts over Saturday's #NXTTakeOver card in Chicago.
On the Velveteen Dream vs. Ricochet match: "Its a dream match for a lot of people".

Triple H on Bobby Roode's recent comments about a possible #WWE Performance Center expansion: "Bobby's comments are glorious, but not always accurate."
Triple H notes that they are looking into a possible expansion, but haven't begun the process as of yet. #NXTTakeOver

On the impending expansion of #WWE into international markets for potential touring brands, Triple H brought up the term "global localization" and noted that his vision was to make an easier path for kids in other countries to become a WWE Superstar. #NXTTakeOver

When asked about if he was looking to bring back talent that had been with #NXT or #WWE before, Triple H said that they do remain in contact with released talent in the hopes of one day bringing them back in and used the re-hiring of Danny Burch as an example. #NXTTakeOver

When asked about the possibility of Paul Ellering being brought back to #NXT, Triple H noted that he wanted to bring Ellering back, but not right away so that the feeling isn't that he is instantly moving from one team (Authors of Pain) to another. #NXTTakeOver

Triple H touted the recent surprise appearances of former #NXT stars at recent NXT live events and noted that there is a good chance there will be more appearances in the future, including on NXT television. #NXTTakeOver

Triple H ended the call today by putting over how much he enjoys the quarterly calls with the wrestling media and noted that he is looking forward to upcoming post-TakeOver meetings with the wrestling media in Chicago and in Brooklyn. This closed the call. #NXTTakeOver

It was also noted that Ricochet is going to be good to go for his match with Velveteen Dream this Saturday at TakeOver: Chicago as he was off Tuesday’s NXT live event in the UK after sustaining an apparent injury on Monday’s live event in Paris, France. Triple H mentioned that Ricochet was pulled from Tuesday’s event as a precautionary measure.
