WWE Network posts 52 episodes of Heat
The WWE Network has posted the first 52 episodes of Sunday Night Heat today, starting with the debut show back on August 2, 1998 through July 25, 1999.
As reported earlier, Sunday Night Heat was announced as new classic content coming to the network in the month of May including collections about Mickie James and the “Corporate Stooges” featuring Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson.
Heat was created as a one-hour series that would feature pre-taped matches and air live once a month before Pay Per View events. The show, which ran from 1998 to 2008, was featured on the USA Network, MTV, TNN/Spike TV and later on WWE.com.
It’s most highly touted episode took place in 1999 during the half time of Super Bowl XXXIII featuring The Rock vs. Mankind in a pre-taped empty arena match for the WWE Championship. You can check out the archive section here on the WWE Network.
