WWE and 205 Live star Ariya Daivari posted the following on Twitter on Monday in response to a fan question, revealing that he received death threats for his segment that took place at last Friday’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.
Daivari first apologized to those he offended for the segment, then responded to the fan and revealed he did receive death threats following the event.

Daivari and his brother Shawn Daivari did a segment on the event Friday where they interrupted four Saudi Arabia trainees, ripping on them and Saudi Arabia and put over their Iranian heritage. The segment ended with the Saudi Arabia trainees sending the Daivaris packing from the ring.
Given the long-standing hatred between Iran and Saudi Arabia, this seems to be the catalyst for the death threats Daivari revealed to have been sent.
