The weekend premiere of “Avengers: Infinity War” starring former WWE star Dave Bautista broke both the domestic opening weekend box office record and worldwide opening record with an estimated $250 million domestic and $630 million worldwide.

According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, “Infinity War” beat the previous record set by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” back in December 2015 by $2 million.

Danny Burch officially signs with WWE

The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that Danny Burch, known outside of WWE as Martin Stone, has officially signed with the company to be part of NXT.

Burch made the announcement during an appearance for Beyond Wrestling on Sunday in Worcester, Massachusetts. Revolution Pro Wrestling had announced that Burch had to pull out of planned appearance on May 11, explaining his WWE signing.

Burch had previously spent time in WWE developmental and was released by the company back in 2014. He went on to take part in enhancement work at last year’s United Kingdom Championship tournament, losing to Jordan Devlin in the first round.

He would later take part in a tag team with Oney Lorcan in NXT. Burch appeared at the latest set of NXT TV tapings along with Lorcan and WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne in a feud against The Undisputed Era. He’s expected at the next tapings on May 9 and 10.
