While there was said to be lots of talk within WWE about how well Ricky Steamboat got over in the ring both at WrestleMania 25 and the Monday Night Raw taping the following night, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there doesn’t appear to be any long-term plans to continue using him in the ring at this time although using him again down the line hasn’t been ruled out. Steamboat will continue in his role as an agent/producer for the company.
