WWE confirms no women at Greatest Royal Rumble
Wrestleview.com has confirmed with WWE that the Greatest Royal Rumble event will not be featuring any female talent on the card when it takes place on April 27.
Mike Messier has an article up online challenging WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia over this decision and overall tolerance of Sharia law.
It was revealed yesterday that Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Kane, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt were the first five names to be announced for the 50 Man Royal Rumble at the event taking place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabi.
Already confirmed for the show is John Cena vs. Triple H and seven championship matches. The company announced a RAW Tag Team Championships match involving The Bar vs. The Hardy Boyz and an Intercontinental Championship ladder match featuring The Miz, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and the returning Samoa Joe.
WWE also recently confirmed the event would indeed stream live on the WWE Network.
