WWE.com just announced that Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has been forced to pull out of tonight’s Mixed Match Challenge show on Facebook Watch.
The article notes Charlotte is injured, but provided no specifics. A fan vote has been created to find a replacement for Charlotte tonight with Bobby Roode to take on the team of Finn Balor and Sasha Banks as part of the semifinals.
The previously announced rematch between Charlotte and Natalya scheduled for tonight’s Smackdown Live was also pulled from the preview on WWE.com. Whether or not the injury is serious and could keep her off WrestleMania remains to be seen.
It’s interesting to note that Charlotte did not wrestle at live events this past weekend.
Becky Lynch, Carmella and Lana are the three options part of the Facebook poll.
