News 18 is featuring an interview with WWE’s Paul “Triple H” Levesque where he talks about being unsure about Brock Lesnar’s status with the company after WrestleMania.
Lesnar, who is scheduled to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns in two weeks at WrestleMania 34, will reportedly see his deal with the company expire following the big event after fulfilling all contractual obligations.
Triple H didn’t seem to have much to add to the contract status as things stand today.
“To be honest I really don’t have anything to share in this conversation and we’ll see where it goes. Brock is Brock, he’s an interesting guy to be with, makes it challenging which is always wonderful and we’re working on it. We’ll see where that goes as time goes on.”
It’s interesting to note that Triple H mentioned having a “good working relationship” with the UFC and Dana White, who Lesnar was pictured with in Las Vegas during the weekend of the Elimination Chamber PPV this past February.
While nothing is official, the belief among many close to Lesnar was that he was expecting to try one more run with the UFC in 2018 in the Heavyweight division, something he was granted permission to do by Vince McMahon and WWE back in 2016.
