“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video recaps Triple H’s big announcement on Monday Night RAW. Triple H said the ending of the Royal Rumble match was in dispute because of The Rock’s interference. Triple H then put Daniel Bryan in a match against Seth Rollins. The winner faces Roman Reigns at WWE Fast Lane. The winner of that match will then go on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After an assist from Reigns, Bryan won the match. Bryan will face Reigns at WWE Fast Lane.
The Smackdown video plays, and we’re brought into the arena with a big pyrotechnics display. We’ll be kicking off this edition of Smackdown with an episode of Miz TV.
Miz TV with special guests Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan
The Miz is introduced with his personal assistant, Damien Mizdow. The Miz admonishes Mizdow for posing for the fans. Miz then instructs him to sit at ringside for the segment. Miz gets in the ring and poses for the crowd to boos. Miz welcomes everyone to Miz TV. Miz goes to talk about his two guests, but the crowd interrupts him with a “We want Mizdow” chant. Miz says they have Mizdow sitting at ringside like a good personal assistant. Miz tells them to shut up while he does the show. Miz composes himself and continues on. His two guests tonight will face each other at WWE Fast Lane with the winner going on to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.
Daniel Bryan is introduced first, and the arena breaks out a huge “YES!” chant. Miz goes to introduce Roman Reigns, but Reigns’ music cuts him off. Reigns comes out to the ring to a decent reception from the crowd. Reigns gets in the ring and immediately takes Miz out with a Superman Punch. Reigns and Bryan stare at each other. Reigns picks up the microphone and asks Bryan if he really thinks he’s going to slide in and take his opportunity. The reality is he went through 29 other superstars to win the Royal Rumble to get to this point right now. He doesn’t have any problem going through one more. He’s going to WrestleMania, fighting Brock Lesnar, and he’s going to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns asks Bryan if he’d like to know how he’s going to do that. Reigns says he’ll beat Bryan at Fast Lane. Reigns doesn’t think they should wait. He thinks they should do this right here and right now. Reigns throws some chairs out of the ring. Bryan drops his microphone and throws the last chair out.
Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he comes out to the stage with J&J Security. Rollins says he’d hate to be a party pooper, but it’s kind of his thing. Rollins says he has a bone to pick with both of them. Daniel Bryan knows that last Monday on RAW, he was on the verge of beating him and punching his ticket to Fast Lane. Then he’d be going to the main event of WrestleMania. He wasn’t victorious because of that jerk Roman Reigns sticking his nose in his business. Rollins says Reigns sucker punched him because he’s a coward who doesn’t have the guts to face him one-on-one like a man. Rollins gets that. If he were Reigns, he wouldn’t want to face him. In case Reigns has forgotten, he’s the one who brought back The Authority and almost beat the beast Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. Rollins says it doesn’t matter what happens at Fast Lane or WrestleMania because he holds the future in his hands. Rollins holds up the Money in the Bank briefcase.
While they’re on the subject of futures, he also wanted to let Bryan know that his future is in jeopardy. Later on tonight per The Authority, he has a match against J&J Security. Bryan laughs at that. Rollins then adds in that he’ll also be in the match. Rollins wishes Bryan luck making it to Fast Lane. Reigns doesn’t look upset about that at all.

Miz was out there to ask the hard-hitting questions about the so-called controversy, but the only controversy he sees is the fact that he’s not in the main event of WrestleMania. Roman Reigns doesn’t belong in the main event of WrestleMania, and he’ll prove it if Reigns accepts his challenge.
