Filling in once again for Mike Tedesco, go here we go!
We see video from this past Monday’s RAW when John Cena attempted to prove to Triple H that he is ready for Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions.
John Cena’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Cena has a mic and says he is wearing the right colors in this state, for the rest of the world watching, we are at the University of Nebraska tonight. In 3 weeks at Night of Champions, I will face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions for the WWE World Title. No more talk about change, or what is best for business, in less than 3 weeks, I will face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions for the WWE World Title, the match is made, so enough. Stop talking about if its right or wrong, if I’m ready or not, if I can or I can’t, if I should or I shouldn’t, stop. I’ve been here for 12 years, I’ve have thousands of matches, yet after Summerslam, all the Superstars, including the Authority, Triple H himself, were looking at me like I’m at the end of my road. They’re looking at me like I’m some fragile, old man, brought down here to do the Queen’s wave because its best for business. My name is John Cena, I’m a WWE Superstar and I fight. I fight because I wanna be the champion and I wanna be the champion because its the symbol of excellence. And when the day comes and I step my two feet in this ring and I don’t want to be champion, I turn around, walk out and never come back. Crowd chants for Cena. Cena says the crowd understands, but everyone in WWE thinks that after this one match at Summerslam, they don’t get it and it was after one match with the most destructive force that has ever step foot in the WWE and that is Brock Lesnar. Since 2012 when Brock came back, he has destroyed everything in his path. Brock Lesnar is for real, Brock Lesnar is everything Paul Heyman says he is and more and I know Night of Champions will be difficult, but I have my match, I’ll find my resolve and at Night of Champions, I get my redemption and I don’t care if Brock Lesnar is a bad-ass, or if Paul Heyman is a loudmouth, or if Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels don’t think that I have a chance, or if Hogan Knows Best, or if Triple H can’t make a decision, shocker, I will stand right here and say “Line them up, I’ll knock them down” and still say that you can get the WWE Network for $9.99! So what the hell is the point of all this? Here’s why. I’m going to Night of Champions to beat Brock Lesnar, I’m going to Night of Champions to beat Brock Lesnar’s………..
All of a sudden, the music of Corporate Kane hits as he & Seth Rollins make their way to the ring. Kane says that he has to be honest, I think Cena is starting to lose it. Rollins says that its like when a 50-year old goes out and buys a dozen sports cars, Cena, are you having a mid-career crisis? Kane says we refer to that as over-compensating.
Cena says he is getting psychological advice from a hell-raised demon and brother of a dead guy, who is now the poster child for Men’s Warehouse. And you, Mr. Plan B, why don’t you kiss my Plan A, the grown-ups are talking, get in the corner and shut up.
Kane says to Cena to be careful, although I’m a competitor, I’m also in a position of power in this company and I can schedule in a match right now that would test your absolute limits. So, if I were you, I’d watch my tone.
The music of Roman Reigns hits as he makes his way through the crowd and to the ring. Reigns grabs a mic and says that this coming Monday Night on RAW, I’m gonna finish my business with Randy Orton and I’d love to start right now, but he’s not here tonight, so that allows me to focus all my attention on these two corporate suck-ups and I’d love nothing more than to make your lives a living hell and I say we get started right here, right now, TONIGHT!
Cena says that myself and the Big Red of Nebraska can believe that!
Kane says wait, you two thought that you were gonna face us? Rollins says that this is why you’re you and we’re us. Just when you think you are catching up, the Authority is ten steps ahead of you.
The Wyatt Family sounder hits and the lights go out. When the lights come back on, the Wyatt Family is standing at ringside, in front of Kane & Rollins.
Chris Jericho’s music hits and he goes onto the rampway, followed by Mark Henry & The Big Show.
Jericho, Henry & Show begin walking down to the ring, but then, the music of WWE COO Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way onto the rampway. Triple H says that no matter how much you love your job, there is just something that is just a burden to do, you know, its like busy work, you don’t wanna have to come out and do it, but you just have to. So, here I am to do my busy work, because I wouldn’t want John Cena, the great, all-mighty, John Cena, to think that the Authority can’t make a decision. So here’s goes my busy work. Let me tell you something, playa, this is how its going to be on Friday Night Smackdown. It’ll be the team of Kane, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family against…….well, you guys get it, you know the drill, its a ten-man tag starring everybody here, including Roman Reigns and John Cena. Now, how about that, playa? Holla! Triple H then leaves to Theodore Long’s old theme music.
