?Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event?? The WWE video leads us into the show.
The Smackdown video plays and we go into the arena to see Kane’s pyro. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show. This is a Raw vs. Smackdown ten man tag match. All of these men will participate in the Money in the Bank match Sunday.
Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin & Drew McIntyre vs. Christian, MVP, Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston
Dolph Ziggler will start off against Kofi Kingston. They circle the ring before locking up. Kingston gets a waist lock and Ziggler reverses it. Kingston gets a side headlock and Ziggler punches out. Ziggler gets a side headlock on and Kingston whips him off but gets shoulder blocked down. They go into the ropes and Kingston hits a nice back elbow for a one count. Everyone gets in the ring now. The match will continue next.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Matt Hardy punching away at Jack Swagger. Hardy sends him to the corner and hits a clothesline followed by a bulldog. This gets Hardy a two count. Hardy tags in Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin throws Swagger to the corner and wrenches the arm. Swagger pushes him to the corner and starts punching. Swagger taunts and gets punched. Swagger reverses a whip but lowers his head and eats a kick. Benjamin then goes into the ropes and gets hit by a belly to belly. Swagger doesn?t tag any of his partners and Benjamin turns the tables on him. Benjamin hits him with a nice dragon kick.
Evan Bourne is tagged in and he kicks Benjamin before going into the ropes and hitting a big hurricanrana. Bourne hits a dropkick before having a whip reversed. Bourne counters that into his double knee takedown for a two count. Christian is tagged in and he wrenches the arm. Christina pushes him down and Benjamin kips up twice. MVP is tagged in and he punches away at Benjamin. Benjamin reverses a whip to the corner and MVP slingshots over him. MVP hits a forearm shiver for a two count. Bourne is tagged back in and he goes for Air Bourne but McIntyre interrupts him. Benjamin then leaps up top and hits a beautiful belly to belly suplex! We?ll take another break here.
-Commercial Break-
We?re back from the break and Benjamin has Bourne locked in a chin lock. Bourne fights up and kicks out. Bourne tries a comeback but Benjamin hits a gut buster. Kane is tagged in and he hits some uppercuts. Kane punches Bourne down in the corner before bringing him out for a body slam. Kane drops an elbow for a two count broken up by Christian. Hardy is tagged back in and he hits a body slam followed by a fist drop for a two count. Hardy locks a front face lock on and is looking for a submission. Bourne fights up but Hardy controls him and tags in Ziggler.
Ziggler kicks Bourne in the ribs and gets a two count. Ziggler taunts the Raw side and punches Bourne. Ziggler drops a huge elbow for a near fall. Hardy tags back in and he drops a leg. Ziggler tags back in and hits a snapmare/right hand combo. The Raw side tries to will Bourne on. Ziggler goes into the ropes and eats a swift kick to the skull.
Christian is tagged in and he goes right after Ziggler. Ziggler reverses a whip and eats a back elbow. Christian hits a missile dropkick for a near fall. Ziggler kicks Christian in the knee and locks on the sleeper. Christian backs him to the corner and eventually gets a nice kick to the face. Christian hits a second rope back elbow and looks for the Kill Switch until McIntyre runs in. MVP runs in and punches away and hits a Drive By Kick on McIntyre. Hardy hits a Side Effect on MVP and Swagger hits a huge clothesline. Benjamin drops Swagger with a Samoan Drop and Kingston takes him out with a big forearm. Kane hits a big boot and catches Bourne off the top rope. Kingston runs in and they get a double Chokeslam! Kane then charges at Christian but goes over the top rope.
Ziggler goes for a Zig-Zag but Christian catapults him to the corner. McIntyre makes a blind tag as Christian hits the Kill Switch! McIntyre then runs in and hits the Future Shock on Christian for the win!

Drew McIntyre goes underneath the ring and gets a ladder. McIntyre climbs up the ladder but everyone gets back in the ring. They then tip the ladder and McIntyre hits the mat hard! The ladder then falls on his back as everyone else looks up at the briefcase!
We get a look at WrestleMania Fan Axxess in Phoenix. Later tonight we?ll see Vickie Guerrero take on Beth Phoenix in her first match ever. We?ll also hear from Chris Jericho.

WrestleMania is 2 days away! These next two days are going to be so slow.
Jerry ?The King? Lawler thanks Kevin Rudolf for the use of ?I Made It.?
We get a shot of Hornswoggle’s house under the ring. We also see some people making their own WWE entrances.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler discuss Chris Jericho vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship. We then see the video that will be shown at WrestleMania.
We?ll hear from Chris Jericho later on tonight. We?ll also see Vickie Guerrero in her first divas match as well.

We see some more displays at Fan Axxess as well as some paintings from the Art Expo.
The video for CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio is shown. This is going to be an awesome match.
Josh Mathews is backstage with ShoMiz. Mathews asks if they?re confident about defending their titles. Miz says they?re two peas in a pod while their opponents are oil and vinegar. Tonight Big Show will show R-Truth what a knockout punch is all about. That’s awesome.
Vickie Guerrero will be in action next. Wow?
-Commercial Break-
The Smack of the Night is Beth Phoenix clotheslining Vickie Guerrero from two weeks ago.
Beth Phoenix comes to the ring. EXCUSE ME! Vickie Guerrero comes out to the stage to massive boos. Vickie said last week that if Beth ever laid hands on her then she?d regret. Since she is the official consultant of Smackdown this will be a five on one handicap match!
Beth Phoenix vs. Vickie Guerrero, Team LayCool, Maryse & Alicia Fox
Layla will start out for her team. Beth lays her out with a forearm and pulls her away from her corner. Layla kicks before getting slammed into the corner. Layla hits a back elbow and runs into a press slam. McCool blind tags but Beth takes her out. Beth takes everyone out with clotheslines for a while before it becomes too much for her. McCool kicks her in the face and Vickie screams EXCUSE ME! She gets the tag and covers Beth for the win.

Vickie goes to the second rope for a Frog Splash but all the face divas run down and clear house. Vickie is still on the second rope as Beth gets up. Vickie tries to get out but Beth grabs her by the pants. Beth rips the pants off and the granny panties say ?Excuse Me? on the back. That’s so nasty. Vickie then runs to the back screaming.
-Commercial Break-
Tony Chimel asks us to welcome the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Jericho gets in the ring and says this Sunday, at WrestleMania, the biggest show of the year, he is going to beat Edge and retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Jericho has to hand it to Edge because he’s a tremendous performer, coming back from so many injuries. Jericho says he came back three months early from injury, won the Rumble, and that is a great story. Jericho says he has every tool it takes to beat Jericho except for one thing ? DNA. Jericho says DNA defines who we are. Jericho’s DNA is superior to ours and Edge’s. It’s his superior DNA that made him champion and the greatest performer of his generation as well as the best in the world at what he does.
Edge’s downfall will be his inferior DNA. It’s not his fault ? it’s his family’s fault. At WrestleMania he?ll use his inferior genetics against him. He?ll take advantage of the Achilles Tendon and end his career. Jericho will stomp and break it. After he’s beaten and 70,000 sheep are silenced he?ll wonder what happened. Jericho says to blame his inferior DNA.
Edge’s music hits and he makes a beeline to the ring. Edge takes out Jericho with a big boot and sets up. Edge charges for a Spear but Jericho gets out of the ring just in time. The World Heavyweight Title is still in the ring so Edge picks it up and looks.
-Commercial Break-
Wow ? they have the limousine that Vince used to orchestrate his fake death. They then show a display for the Hart Foundation. They even showed Owen Hart! They had relics from the Hart Dungeon as well.
Bret Hart is in the ring at Fan Axxess right now as Lawler and Cole continue to talk WrestleMania. They then take us to a video highlighting Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon. I can?t believe this is actually going to happen.
R-Truth will take on Big Show later on tonight.

John Cena vs. Batista is shown.

The WrestleMania Recall is WrestleMania 21. I loved that one.
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels is shown. I can?t wait.
We go back to the arena in San Jose. John Morrison makes his way to the ring. Morrison introduces his partner R-Truth. R-Truth thanks Morrison for the intro and gives one back. R-Truth then gives an intro for Morrison. R-Truth talks about how ShoMiz have no chemistry. They then proceed to cut the worst promo ever. They make fat jokes before saying they?ll win at WrestleMania. R-Truth will take on Big Show next.
-Commercial Break-
The WWE Hall of Fame will be on USA tomorrow night.
R-Truth vs. Big Show
Big Show puts R-Truth in the corner and chops his chest. Big Show throws him across the ring and chokes him on the bottom rope. Show hits a body shot and talks some trash. Show hits a body slam and some more body shots. Show chops the chest and throws him into the ring post shoulder first. Show damages the ribs a bit before R-Truth tries for a comeback. Big Show head-butts him down and sends him to the corner. Big Show charges into some boots but catches R-Truth off the ropes. Big Show hits a fallaway slam before going to the second rope. Big Show dives off for an elbow drop but R-Truth moves!
The Miz gets in the ring and R-Truth punches him off. Morrison sends Miz into the ring steps. Big Show catches Morrison and R-Truth by the throats but they hit a double DDT. The bell is called.
Winner: No Contest

R-Truth hits a Scissors Kick and Morrison hits a Chuck Kick on Show. R-Truth then takes Miz out with a Lie Detector before setting Miz up for Starship Pain. Morrison and R-Truth celebrate in the ring as the show ends.

Mike’s Thoughts
I wasn?t expecting much from this edition of Smackdown and they gave me just what I expected. A couple of throwaway matches, a promo, and a ton of videos. The ten man tag was good and built up Money in the Bank. The Divas match was surprisingly fun. The comedy with Vickie Guerrero was good. There’s not much to say really.
