They will get a chance to prove that tonight against Kevin Owen and Roman Reigns. That match starts right…. Stephanie cuts Mick Foley and says there is another match tonight. Security is lined up diagonally in the ring to keep Goldberg and Brock Lesnar from making contact.
Brock Lesnar makes his entrance alongside Paul Heyman. Lesnar receives a nice round of applause. Lesnar enters the ring on one side of the line of security. A loud “Goldberg” chant is already firing up.
Goldberg is seen walking backstage looking as intense as ever. The “Goldberg” chants are really loud. Goldberg stands in the sparks and makes his epic entrance. Goldberg gets in the ring on the other side of the line. Lesnar and Heyman just stare at him. Goldberg looks out into the crowd and is soaking in the chants of his name. Heyman starts to do his usual shtick, but Goldberg cuts him off and says this has nothing to do with Heyman. This has to do with him and Brock. Heyman says he agrees with the assessment and calls him “Mr. Goldberg.” Heyman wants to give his opinion. Goldberg tells him to shut up and consider getting the rent-a-cops out of the ring so the only two real men in the ring can get it on. The crowd loudly cheers. Heyman tells the crowd not to encourage him. Another loud “Goldberg” chant fires up.
Heyman says Goldberg threw him off his game, so he’ll start over. Goldberg shouts at him to shut up. Heyman keeps going and talks about the “brave men in uniform” that are not rent-a-cops. They’re here for Goldberg’s protection. Goldberg shakes his head. Heyman says the crowd can chant his name, so they do. Heyman starts over again. Heyman says his client is the only thing that should be on Goldberg’s mind, not the brave men in uniform here to save his ass. They won’t be here this Sunday. If Goldberg doesn’t believe him, he can ask The Undertaker. Goldberg can ask an icon like John Cena. Goldberg tells him to shut his mouth. Goldberg says there’s a long list of people that this beast has conquered, but he’s not on it. That burns Lesnar’s ass whenever he thinks of it. Goldberg says he heard what Lesnar said about his family last week, so he can take that long list and shove it up his ass. Heyman says if he doesn’t have false respect for Lesnar, he should have false respect for his family. Goldberg says if Heyman mentions his family one more time, he’ll rip off his head and feed it to Lesnar. Another “Goldberg” chant fires up.
Heyman apologizes for raising his voice to him. Secondly, has Goldberg read the promotion for Survivor Series? “Fantasy warfare just got real.” This whole superhero image of Goldberg is fantasy. His beast and conqueror is very real. Heyman says the beating Goldberg will receive this Sunday is real. Yet another “Goldberg” chant drowns him out. Heyman says they’re pissing off his beast. Heyman tells him to consider this offer. Back away and go to the fantasy world. This Sunday, he’ll find a suitable replacement for him to be victimized by his client. Maybe he can buy his son a gift card for the WWE Network so he can see Brock Lesnar do his thing. Goldberg puts down the microphone and tears off his shirt. Lesnar starts to approach him. Heyman says his beast is violent, and he’s getting too agitated around him. Heyman says this Sunday night live on the WWE Network at Survivor Series, Goldberg will be beaten, victimized, and conquered by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar shoves two members of security down at Goldberg’s feet. The security quickly fill the gap. Heyman says he’ll be so unrecognizable that his son will call Lesnar “daddy.”
Goldberg viciously takes out the security guards. The rest of them run off. Lesnar rips off his shirt and stands on the apron. Goldberg challenges him to get into the ring. Lesnar puts one leg through the ropes, but then leaps off the apron. Lesnar smiles at him. A loud “Goldberg” chant fills the arena. Stephanie goes to hug her brother, but he declines. She shakes hands with Bryan and promptly makes fun of the “YES” chant. Shane says they’re not here to promote the 900th episode of Smackdown Live tomorrow night featuring the return of The Undertaker. Bryan says they’re definitely not here to promote WWE Hall of Famer Edge being on Smackdown Live tomorrow. Shane says they’re here to talk about Survivor Series. Stephanie congratulates them on 900 episodes, but then says they’ll prove to be the dominant brand. Shane says that’s not the case. Even though the deck was stacked against them, they drafted better and is better than RAW. A “YES” chant fires up. Stephanie points out that the crowd is at RAW. Shane says she still rules with fear. She threatened her superstars’ contracts if they lose. Shane says they give rewards. Shane says they’ll be the dominant brand. Stephanie asks if one of the rewards was competing on Team Smackdown and taking away an opportunity from a WWE Superstar. She calls him a hypocrite. The only reason the people like Shane is because he panders to the crowd and jumps off high structures. She asks how he’ll feel when the reason Team Smackdown Live loses is because of him.
Bryan points out pandering and leaping off high structures describes her General Manager. Stephanie says Foley is not competing in the match. Bryan says everyone loves Foley. Bryan says that’s not why he put Shane on Team Smackdown. He did it because he is a real leader who knows how to bring people together, unlike some people he knows. When he gets in the ring, he can get as wild and crazy as anyone else. Speaking of wild, crazy, and reckless, Bryan thanks Foley for putting up the entire Cruiserweight Division because they’ll be great on Smackdown Live. Foley says that’s how much he believes in Brian Kendrick and also Sami Zayn. Foley says they called their brand lazy and complacent. Owens looks at Styles and says on the Kevin Owens, the WWE World Championship means absolutely nothing. Styles asks if the WWE World Championship really means nothing. Styles says Owens’ title means he’s a paper champion. Styles says his title means he’s the champ that runs the camp. He’s the face that runs the place. Owens says it’s cool to steal someone’s catchphrase. Owens says his title makes him better than Styles, and he’ll prove it this Sunday. Styles says the only thing he’s proven is he’s still stuck on Chris Jericho’s sugar tit. Styles says he worked with Jericho and got a knife in the back. Maybe Owens should watch his back or he’ll wind up on the list. Owens says Jericho will never turn on him because he’s a better partner and friend. Jericho says they’re best friends. Jericho asks if Styles knows what happens when you insult his best friend in the big leagues. You just made the list! As for Styles’ soccer mom hair, he doesn’t like it… so it just made the list! Jericho then asks, “What the hell is that?” James Ellsworth looks confused on the apron. Jericho says there is a lost child on the apron. Jericho says Ellsworth is a weird looking guy.
