“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The RAW stage is decorated with a Santa sled, some fake snow, Christmas trees, and presents. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper will host an edition of Piper’s Pit with special guests Rusev and Lana. Roman Reigns take on Big Show in his first RAW match since September. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt will also compete in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

Ho Ho Hogan is here to spread some Christmas cheer

Hulk Hogan’s music hits, and Ho Ho Hogan makes his way to the ring dressed as Santa Claus to a nice reception. Michael Cole, JBL, and Jerry “The King” Lawler (complete in an ugly sweater) welcome us to the show. Hogan says, “Ho, ho, ho brother!” Hogan says he’s here to spread cheer all over Monday Night RAW. A big “Hogan” chant breaks out. Hogan says then corrects them and starts a big “Ho Ho Hogan” chant. Hogan says he’ll be giving presents to all the WWE Superstars and Universe. Tonight they’ll get to see that big, nasty, stinky, wart-infested giant Big Show go one-on-one with Roman Reigns. “Believe that, brother,” Hogan says. We’ll also see Bray Wyatt take on Dean Ambrose in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, brother.

John Cena’s music hits, and he comes out to a good reception from the crowd. Cena stands in the ring, and he then begins receiving some boos. Cena says members of the naughty and nice list are here. We also have Ho Ho Hogan Claus here. It’s a big week for the North Pole. Santa Claus is hard to get a hold of, but if there’s one man that is as iconic as Santa Clause it is Ho Ho Hogan. Another big “Ho Ho Hogan” chant breaks out. Cena says he’s done his best to be good this year and wanted a Frozen sing along set (Cena sings a line of “Let It Go”) until this happened: a replay is shown of Brock Lesnar attacking Cena in the Steel Cage on RAW last week. A “We want Lesnar” chant breaks out in the crowd. Cena says he agrees because he wants Lesnar to kick his teeth down his throat. After something like that, normal people would come down and demand that the decision be reversed. His career and health were in jeopardy when Rollins Curb Stomped him, but those people get coal in their stockings. Cena isn’t here to do that. Last week, he lost to Rollins fair and square. After that loss, he changed his Christmas wish. All he wants is a match against Seth Rollins tonight. He’ll be ready for Rollins, J&J Security, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he makes his way out to the stage with J&J Security behind him. Rollins does not look pleased. Rollins says he can’t believe what he’s hearing. This is ridiculous. He did Curb Stomp his head into the mat, so maybe that’s why he can’t see what’s wrong with this picture. Cena is out here running his mouth again, and he told him a few weeks ago on Smackdown that no one wants to hear his stupid voice any more. That receives a mixed response. Rollins says he didn’t come out to disrespect him or Hogan. The two of them are absolute legends. In their respective eras, they took the industry to heights it has never seen before. As Cena likes to say, “Your time is up, and my time is now.” Rollins says he is the future of WWE. He is the new standard bearer of the ring they stand in. This is his business. If Cena wants to last one more day in the Seth Rollins Era, that’s something he’ll have to accept. A “You sold out” chant breaks out.

Rollins says this isn’t why he’s out here. That’s icing on the cake. The real indictment of this entire company is the fact that Ho Ho Hogan is running RAW tonight when it should be The Authority. Rollins says, “Screw that guy. He’s an imposter and a farce.” A “Ho Ho Hogan” chant breaks out. Rollins says he doesn’t want to be The Grinch, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon deserve to be here. Instead, they are sitting at home, depressed, watching people like Ho Ho Hogan running this show and company into the toilet. That all started at Survivor Series when Cena and his stupid little team couldn’t get the job done. They had to get help in the most unlikely of places in the form of The Vigilante Sting. Regarding last week, he considers Cena lucky that he let him get up and walk out of the ring on his own two feet. If Santa doesn’t grant him his Christmas present, he might not be so lucky. The Christmas present that he deserves is for Hogan to force John Cena to do the right thing and what’s best for business, and that’s to bring The Authority back.

Cena tells Rollins to just shut up because he’s putting people to sleep. Cena says this year Rollins has turned his back on his friends, lied, cheated, stole, and mastered the art of being a complete scumbag. Now he has the gall to run his mouth about Hulk Hogan. Usually you get put on the naughty list, but if Rollins comes down to the ring he’ll get some neon green sneakers in his ass. Cena says he’ll cut to the chase. Either Rollins comes down here and shuts him up or he walks away like the coward he is. Cena says, “I am not bringing The Authority back.” Hogan says, “Ho, ho, hold on a minute, brother.” Since Cena isn’t going to bring The Authority back, he’ll have to go with an alternative. That alternative is Seth Rollins will face John Cena in the first match on RAW tonight! The crowd cheers as Hogan puts his Santa hat on Cena. Hogan says, “So whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan – ha, ha, ha – the WWE Universe, and all of the Christmas cheer run wild on you, brother?” Hogan’s music plays, and Cena does one of Hogan’s poses.
