WWE Monday Night RAW Results
December 1, 2014
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Results by: Mike Tedesco of Wrestleview.com

“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video is shown of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talking about being out of power last Monday. Daniel Bryan made his return to see them out before saying he’s in charge of RAW for the evening. Mr. McMahon told Triple H and Stephanie that they would somehow make this right. Bryan then booked the main event to be John Cena and Dolph Ziggler taking on Seth Rollins and J&J Security. Cena, Ziggler and Bryan celebrated to end the show.

The chime of the Anonymous RAW General Manager rings throughout the arena. Michael Cole is already standing at the podium and says, “Can I have your attention please? I have just received an e-mail from the Anonymous RAW General Manager, and I quote, ‘I am back and am not happy. With The Authority out of power, this company needs a strong leader, someone who has industry-wide respect, who everyone knows and yet no one knows. WWE needs me. I can’t leave the fortunes and future of WWE resting in the hands of the succession of washed up WWE Superstars. Therefore, I would like to make the following announcements…’”

John Cena’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring before anything else can be read. Cena says we are having a “paramount” night on RAW. Cena says the Board of Directors has their stuff together because the Anonymous RAW General Manager is running the show. Cena says he loves nothing about the Anonymous GM before saying it has something in common with Brock Lesnar: they show up once a year. The Authority isn’t here as they’re gone and never coming back. At Survivor Series, Team Cena was victorious despite everything. When we needed him most, the Big Show turned his back on them and joined The Authority. Triple H made many underhanded attempts to thwart his teammates, but they survived because they had to since their jobs were on the line. They showed what it’s all about to be a WWE Superstar. Cena wants to say why they did, but the chime of the Anonymous RAW General Manager rings through the speakers again. Cena leaves the ring and intimidates Cole away from the podium. Cena says he won’t let the most important victory in Survivor Series and possibly WWE history hand RAW over to a faceless, nameless, heartless computer. Cena then closes the laptop and the chiming stops.

Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring accompanied by J&J Security. Rollins gets in the ring and tells the crowd to give Cena a hand. Rollins says he needs to give Cena a hand as well since he is so good at so many things. Cena has bad jokes that can go on for days. Cena is also really good at waving his hand in front of his face. Cena says he does that right before he defeats Rollins. Rollins says he’s also quite efficient at getting half the crowd to tell him how much he sucks on a nightly basis. Most of the crowd seems to be on Cena’s side, as they chant, “You sold out” toward Rollins. Rollins says Cena is really great at taking credit, particularly credit that he is not due. Cena didn’t win anything at Survivor Series. If he remembers correctly, he eliminated Cena from the match. Rollins pinned his shoulders to the mat as the referee counted. On top of that, he would have been the sole survivor and The Authority would still be in power if it weren’t for one man: Sting. Cena says it was exciting to see Sting, but Rollins forgets that his team had one member left. This man took on 3-on-1 odds and survived. That man is Dolph Ziggler. Cena says he’ll give credit to the superstar that got The Authority out of power and beat Rollins, and that is Ziggler.

Rollins says that’s not really why he’s out here. The question is this: After a week, everyone has to ask themselves if the WWE is really better with The Authority out of power? A big “YES!” chant breaks out. Rollins says all the hard work and sacrifice Team Cena put in to get The Authority out of power has led the Board of Directors to put the Anonymous RAW General Manager in charge. What next? JBL? JBL gets excited and stands up before doing a “YES!” chant. Rollins says it could be Batista since he’s proven he’s terrible at wrestling and acting. Maybe they could bring back Eric Bischoff? Rollins says every single week will be a guessing game. Everything Cena worked for the week before might be up in smoke based on whatever the GM of the week’s agenda might be. Cena asks for his point. Rollins says Cena always talks about how this is the crowd’s show, and he does what’s best for them. What’s best for Cena, the fans, and WWE is also what’s best for business. Cena is the only one with the power. Cena has no choice but to bring back The Authority.

Cena says Rollins is awful bossy. Rollins is in no place to be barking orders. Rollins’ trump card is gone because The Authority is out of power and not coming back. Before when he had Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in his back pocket, Rollins could say and do what he wanted to do. Now, Rollins is like everyone else and has to earn everything he gets. Rollins is a normal guy with a golden briefcase that wears way too much latex and has two mall cops. Cena says Rollins won’t order him to do anything. Cena has the power to bring The Authority back. Rollins has to ask nicely. Rollins pauses for a moment before reluctantly saying, “Will you please bring back The Authority?” Cena says that wasn’t nice enough and tells him to get down on one knee.

The Anonymous RAW General Manager’s chime rings through the arena. Cole says that Cena and Rollins will compete one-on-one in a Tables Match at WWE TLC. Just like The Authority was challenged to make them the strongest possible leaders, Cena will also be challenged to be the strongest possible superstar. If Cena loses at TLC, he will no longer be the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Cena turns around, and Rollins attacks him from behind. Cena throws Rollins out of the ring before fighting J&J Security off. Kane runs down and gives Cena a Chokeslam. Rollins talks some trash before getting a table out from under the ring. Ryback’s music then hits, and he runs down to give Kane a spinebuster. Ryback takes out J&J Security before giving Rollins a military press powerslam. Kane then takes Ryback out with some vicious chair shots. Erick Rowan’s music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring to big boot Kane. Rowan then powers Rollins to the corner and head-butts him before Big Show comes down to avalanche him. Big Show then throws Rowan out of the ring and takes the top half of the steel steps to hit Rowan with. Dolph Ziggler then comes out to a big reception to throw Big Show into the ring post. Ziggler then gets a ladder and puts it in the ring. Luke Harper runs down and slams the ladder off Ziggler.

J&J Security hold Cena up as Rollins sets up the table. Cena fights them off before going to give Rollins an AA through the table. Harper pulls Rollins off and punches Cena. Big Show then gives Cena a Knockout Punch. Rollins tells J&J Security to pick Cena back up. They then give Cena a Triple Powerbomb through the table. The remnants of The Authority stand tall over John Cena’s broken body.

Lana says while the Americans pride themselves on freedom (she stops to tell the crowd to “shut up” as they chant USA), last week Rusev was ordered to recite the pathetic Pledge of Allegiance. Not only did Rusev bravely refuse, he was punished for his valor and forced to enter into a Battle Royal to defend his title on Smackdown. Nineteen men tried to defeat Rusev, and they all failed. When will America learn that Rusev is the greatest United States Champion that this pathetic excuse for a superpower has ever seen? Mick Foley (dressed well as Santa Claus) and his daughter Noelle Foley do a promo for WWE Shop.

John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, and Ryback will take on Seth Rollins, Luke Harper, and Kane in the main event.

-Commercial Break-

Paul Heyman is live via satellite from Stanford, Connecticut. Michael Cole asks about the stipulation at WWE TLC where if John Cena loses, he will no longer be the number one contender. Heyman says he wants to address what Cena said at the beginning of the show when he said that Brock Lesnar only comes around once a year. Heyman says that’s funny because we’re here in the Christmas season. Why not do Christmas 365 nights a year? That would be stupid. It’s special and unique like an appearance by his client. Why not call every Monday “WrestleMania”? It defeats the purpose. WrestleMania comes once a year and is can’t miss, must see, like his client. If John Cena gets by Seth Rollins at the TLC PPV, a war weary John Cena has to face a fresh, rested, properly trained Brock Lesnar. The beating Cena will receive will make the one at SummerSlam pale in comparison. Who becomes the number one contender if Cena can’t get by Rollins? Will it be Seth Rollins who gave Lesnar a Curb Stomp? Rollins can’t hide behind The Authority, so he rescinds his acceptance of Rollins’ apology. Maybe it’ll be The Undertaker? That’s if you can find him, which you can’t because Lesnar taught him that a loss can sting. How about Sting? If Sting stepped into the ring with Lesnar, it would be an unadvertised retirement match. You can make the entire WWE locker room the number one contender, but it would be like the Roman Coliseum. Lesnar would eat through the locker room en masse. He who has the gold has the power. He represents that power. His name is Paul Heyman, and he is the advocate for that power.

John Cena makes his way to the ring. The main event is next.
