“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The show kicks off with a video of Triple H booking John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a match at WWE Hell in a Cell. The winner of that match will go on to face Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match later in the evening. Ambrose then gave Cena a Double Arm DDT. On Smackdown, their match was turned into a No Holds Barred Contract on a Pole match. Cena then gave Ambrose an Attitude Adjustment.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring to a great reception from the crowd. Ambrose says there is nothing he’d like more in this world than to be locked inside a Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins. All that steel and danger excites him because he can brutalize and pummel him so badly, Rollins will wish he’d never heard of him. Before he gets there, he’s got something standing in his way that really pisses him off. It has to do with a 15-time World Champion, a little matter with the face of WWE, John Cena. He has to get through Cena first in a No Holds Barred Contract on a Pole match. He told Cena that he had no problem dropping him where he stands, and he did that last week. Cena then did the same to him on Smackdown. It’s quite clear what The Authority is trying to do. They want him and Cena to tear each other apart to protect the golden boy, Seth Rollins. Ambrose says there is only one way to do this. He’s going to go to Hell in a Cell, grab the contract off the pole, rip the pole down, and beat Cena senseless with it. Then he’ll go to the Hell in a Cell and beat Rollins head off the cell like a basketball. There is nothing The Authority or Cena can do about it.

John Cena’s music hits, and he comes out to his typical mixed reaction. Cena says this is why they call it “Hotlanta.” Cena tells Ambrose to relax because the match is already made. They’re going to fight in two weeks at Hell in a Cell. This is a match that the WWE Universe wants to see because they know both men have a chance. They want to see who will get their hands on Seth Rollins. Now, Ambrose is out here beating his chest and talking trash. Maybe Ambrose can leave him unconscious again. Maybe Ambrose walks out of here. Maybe he doesn’t. Cena says he’ll do him a favor and give him some veteran advice. Ambrose has the match of his life coming up at Hell in a Cell in two weeks. Shut up and use the two weeks to get ready for the biggest match of his career because he’s going to bring it at Hell in a Cell.

Cena goes to leave the ring, and Ambrose sarcastically says, “Thanks for the veteran advice, big brother.” Ambrose says he was born ready to whoop his ass for years. Ambrose warns him to not talk to him like he’s some kind of chump or act like he gives a damn about him. Ambrose says he doesn’t trust him for one second. Cena says it’s Ambrose’s instability that will ruin his opportunity. Cena tells him to try to drop him now so he can see why he’s been to the mountaintop fifteen times. Ambrose will realize he’s out of his league and over his head. Ambrose has a hell of a match coming up in two weeks.

The Authority’s music hits, and Triple H comes out to the stage with Stephanie McMahon. Triple H says they’ve still got two weeks at Hell in a Cell where they can rip each other apart in a No Holds Barred Contract on a Pole to see who will face Seth Rollins. Everyone can see it for $9.99. For their own amusement, how about they fight in tag team competition. Triple H doesn’t think they could get along as partners for five minutes. Stephanie thinks they’re afraid to fight each other. Triple H asks if she wants to bet. Stephanie then books a triple threat tag team match with Cena and Ambrose facing The Usos and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Gold and Stardust. This match is next.

The Authority’s music hits, and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon come back to the stage. Triple H says she was right, and they could get along. Triple H then gives her a dollar before saying that he hates to lose. Maybe they don’t have the proper motivation. Maybe they need that spark to make this all go down. They both want a shot at Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell. Why wait to find out who gets it? Let’s hang a contract on a pole in that corner. In a No Holds Barred match, John Cena and Dean Ambrose will tear each other limb from limb. Only one of them will get a chance to face Rollins. It’ll be the man who brings the contract down.
