WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Ryback (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Lots of exchanges early. Ryback with a huge press slam sending Kevin Owens over the top rope to the outside. Owens wraps the left arm of Ryback behind his back and rams it hard into the steel ring post to answer back. Owens continues to work on the left arm of Ryback in the corner. Ryback with body shots and then eats a big kick to the face from Owens. Owens locks up the left arm of Ryback and yells at the referee to ask him. Owens drops quickly to the mat with Ryback’s left arm extended. Owens with a side russian leg sweep. Ryback bails to the corner and Owens stands over his chest. Owens flips Ryback down and goes back to work on his left arm. Ryback with repeated shoulder blocks and a big powerslam. Owens with a high back body drop. Ryback with a big spinebuster for a two count. Owens catches Ryback with a quick kick. Ryback drops Owens with a clothesline and calls for the end. Ryback has Owens up. Owens counters sending Ryback shoulder first into the steel ring post. Owens gets a two count on a roll up. Owens drops his knees over the bad arm of Ryback, gets another two count and then goes right into a modified armbar. Ryback powers up and plants Owens down! Ryback has Owens up. Owens rakes the eyes, rolls up Ryback and gets the pinfall.
Winner and new WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kevin Owens
After the match, Owens rolls out grabbing the title in celebration.
Brock Lesnar “Go to Hell Tour” is promoted including 10/3 at Madison Square Garden, the “Stone Cold Podcast” on 10/19 and 10/25 at Hell in a Cell against The Undertaker! They went back to a shocked Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler about that announcement that we will see Lesnar vs. Undertaker in a few weeks at Hell in a Cell.
Backstage, Rich Brennan is with Rusev. Rusev blows him off.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev w/ Summer Rae
Ziggler catches Rusev with a dropkick early and Rusev bails. Rusev back in and eats another dropkick from Ziggler. Ziggler jumps on Rusev’s back and gets a sleepr applied. Rusev responds with his big spin kick taking Ziggler off of his feet. Rusev with a shot on Ziggler on the ring apron sending Ziggler off to the guard railing. Rusev sends Ziggler back first into the guard railing and then tosses him back inside the ring. Ziggler with big right hands to Ziggler in the corner. Ziggler with an awkward small package on Rusev. Ziggler with a quick scoop slam on Rusev and avoids a corner splash. Ziggler with repeated clotheslines, a splash and reverse neckbreaker on Rusev. Ziggler drops an elbow and gets a two count during a pinfall attempt. Rusev with a spinning side slam on Rusev for two. Rusev avoids a kick, Ziggler with a roll up, Rusev counters, avoids a Fameasser and drops Ziggler face first on the corner. Ziggler avoids a charge and hits the Fameasser. Rusev gets his shoulder up after two. Rusev trips up Ziggler on the corner and follows with a big kick to the body. Ziggler gets the sleeper locked on Rusev again. Ziggler is wrapping his legs around the body of Rusev to apply more pressure. Ziggler with a huge DDT on Rusev. Rusev was literally upright upon taking the DDT. Rusev with a superkick. Ziggler gets a shoulder up after two. Rusev thinks he won and is celebrating. The referee tells him it was 2 1/2 and not 3. Rusev argues with the referee. Rusev pulls a lifeless Ziggler away and puts a stomp to his lower back. Ziggler then slips out and catches Rusev with a superkick. Ziggler falls over Rusev and Rusev gets a shoulder up. Summer Rae jumps up on the ring apron and hangs over the ropes. Rusev hits the ropes and Summer falls in. The referee sees she is fine and sends her to the back. Summer grabs her shoe, throws it at the referee, the referee ducks and it hits Rusev instead. Ziggler with the Zig Zag for the win.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, we see a shocked Summer Rae. Rusev heads to the back upset. Dolph Ziggler jumps out and kisses Summer’s hand.
Backstage, we see Nikki Bella warming up with Team Bella and Charlotte with Team PCB. Ric Flair is in the house as well backstage with Team PCB.
WWE Tag Team Championships Match
The New Day (c’s) vs. The Dudley Boyz
We start with D-Von and Kofi Kingston. Xavier Woods already has the trombone out. Kingston with a dropkick early. Kingston slaps D-Von over the back of his head. D-Von with a clothesline and right hands to Kingston in the corner. Tag to Bubba Ray. Kingston hangs on to the ropes avoiding a 3D. Tag to Big E. “This is our time old man,” yells BIg E. Big E with a headlock on Bubba. Bubba with a back suplex to break it up and tags in D-Von. The Dudley’s with double elbow drops over Big E. Quick tag back to Bubba. Big E is going up top, Bubba with a huge chest chop, hooks Big E and drops him down in a suplerplex. Tag to Kingston who eats a high back body drop and nearly hits the corner! Bubba tosses Woods inside the ring after avoiding a shot from Big E. Kingston dropkicks Bubba in the back. Kingston has the tag and works over Bubba with kicks. Tag to Big E and Woods fires off the trombone. Tag to Kingston and he keeps up the trombone. More quick tags between Kingston and Big E. Kingston with a big dropkick to Bubba in the corner. Kingston with a big knee to the side of Bubba’s face. Tag to Big E who splashes Bubba over the ring apron! Back in the ring, Big E catches Bubba with an elbow and tags in Kingston. Kingston with Rocky body shots and a big right to Bubba. Bubba with a chop to Kingston. Kingston with rights. Bubba returns with another chop. Bubba with a Bubba Bomb on Kingston. Hot tag to D-Von. D-Von with rights to Kingston. D-Von with a leaping shoulder block, knocks Big E down and plants Kingston. D-Von with a shot to Woods and a press slam with rights on Kingston. D-Von with a headbutt drop to Kingston, fires up the crowd and splashes Kingston. D-Von with a jumping clothesline and tags in Bubba. Reverse 3D on Big E. 3D on Kingston. Bubba hooks the leg. Woods breaks it up to cause the DQ.

Winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Day
After the match, The New Day clears house on The Dudley Boyz. Xavier Woods grabs the trombone and starts to celebrate with Big E and Kofi Kingston. Big E then tells Woods to get the tables. Woods grabs a table and sets it up in the ring. The Dudley’s get life and take out Big E and Kofi Kingston. Woods has his back turned and doesn’t know. When Woods turns around, D-Von lifts him up and Bubba comes down with the 3D through the table!

WWE Divas Championship Match
Nikki Bella (c) w/ Brie Bella & Alica Fox vs. Charlotte w/ Paige & Becky Lynch
Nikki Bella rolls out immediately and warms up a bit. Charlotte charges in and Nikki bails again. Nikki does a few push ups. Nikki rolls in, lock up and Charlotte pushes her to the corner. Charlotte gets tossed out and starts favoring her knee. Nikki with a suplex and Charlotte catches her leg on the bottom rope. Nikki on the outside pulls Charlotte to the floor by her bad knee. Nikki props up Charlotte’s leg on the corner and drops her body over it. Nikki with knees to the back of Charlotte’s leg. Nikki pulls back on the bad knee of Charlotte and then slams it down over the mat. Nikki keeps working over the knee of Charlotte pulling it back. Nikki with push ups. Nikki drops her body off Charlotte’s bad knee again. Nikki attempts this a second time and Charlotte with a roll up for two. Nikki with a half boston crab on Charlotte. Charlotte is crying out in pain. Charlotte fights out and hits some body shots to Nikki. Nikki throws the leg of Charlotte off the steel ring post. Nikki with a figure four on Charlotte over the steel post. Nikki goes back to the half boston crab. Team PCB and Team Bella are now brawling at ringside. Charlotte with a close roll up. Nikki jumps on the back of Charlotte. Charlotte drops Nikki down to break free. Charlotte with chops to Nikki. Charlotte with a neckbreaker and big boot to the face. Nikki counters a backslide pin with a big backwards kick. Nikki with elbows to Charlotte’s bad knee and for a third time, Nikki suplexes Charlotte into the ropes. The referee asks Charlotte if she wants to continue and Charlotte says she is fine. Nikki is up on the corner, jumps and Charlotte catches her with a spear. Charlotte locks on the Figure Eight. Nikki taps.

After the match, Ric Flair hits the ring and celebrates with Charlotte. Charlotte is crying as she puts the WWE Divas Championship over her shoulder.
Backstage, JoJo is with the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. Owens said he was a P\prize fighter without a prize. Now that all changes.
We go to the Night of Champions panel outside of the arena in Houston with Renee Young, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton and Booker T.
We see highlights of Stardust and The Ascension getting a win over Neville and The Lucha Dragons earlier tonight during the Kickoff show.
Backstage, we see Ric Flair hugging Charlotte. Team PCB also celebrates with her.
The Wyatt Family vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Chris Jericho
Before the match, a fan jumped in the ring with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. WWE security and referees immediately pushed him out. Moments later, the lights went out and Chris Jericho was revealed as the mystery partner tonight.
We start with Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper. Ambrose with a jumping clothesline, low clothesline and elbow drop. Tag to Roman Reigns. Ambrose with a dropkick and Reigns follows with a jumping clothesline on Harper. Tag to Chris Jericho who comes off the top with a quick sledgehammer shot. Jericho with a top rope cross body on Harper. Jericho with a kick to the head of Harper. Tag to Reigns who fires off a right. Tag to Braun Strowman who gets in the face of Reigns. Strowman gets Reigns up. Reigns jumps off, tags in Ambrose and Reigns/Ambrose take turns getting in shots on Strowman. Strowman overpowers both men easily. Jericho jumps in, Strowman picks him up and throws him over the top rope taking out both Reigns and Ambrose at ringside. Strowman works over Ambrose and tags in Bray Wyatt. Ambrose with a quick neckbreaker on Wyatt. Tag to Reigns and tag to Harper. Reigns with a clothesline and uppercut to Harper. Harper avoids a samoa drop and then Reigns pulls it off during a second attempt. Reigns plants Harper from the corner and eats a boot to the face from Harper. Reigns with a big sitdown powerbomb on Harper. Reigns sends Harper out of the ring. Strowman grabs Reigns. Harper with a superkick on Reigns. Tag to Wyatt who drops rights over Reigns. Tag to Strowman who connects with a big scoop slam on Reigns. Wyatt holds Reigns on the outside and Harper comes flying out with a suicide dive. Wyatt follows it up with a body splash. Wyatt tosses Reigns out who is crawling around trying to recover. Ambrose jumps on the back of Strowman at ringside. Strowman dumps Ambrose to the timekeepers area. Reigns with a kick and elbow to Wyatt. Tag to Jericho. Jericho with shoulder blocks, springboard dropkicks Strowman off the ring apron, running bulldog on Wyatt and then drops Wyatt down into the Walls of Jericho. Harper breaks it up. Ambrose is in and kicks Harper out. Ambrose with a roll up for two on Wyatt. Ambrose and Wyatt meet with a double clothesline. Reigns is in. Superman Punch on Strowman. Reigns with a second Superman Punch on Strowman. Ambrose off the top with a flying elbow and then a suicide dive to Harper on the outside. Reigns with a spear on Strowman. Jericho tags himself in and connects with the Lionsault on Strowman. Strowman kicks out with force. Wyatt sends Reigns into the barricade at ringside. Jericho attempts a Codebreaker. Strowman counters and plants Jericho face first on the mat off his shoulder. Strowman with his bear hug squeezing Jericho with force. Jericho is out. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners: The Wyatt Family
After the match, Cole, JBL and Lawler talk about Chris Jericho making a mistake tagging himself in when he did. The Wyatt Family celebrates the win. We then see a replay of the finish. Back live, we see Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose standing near Jericho. Jericho gets up, bumps the shoulder of Ambrose and heads to the back.
Backstage, Seth Rollins is with The Authority. Rollins is fired up for tonight. We then see Sheamus walk by with the “Money in the Bank” briefcase saying he is ready as well.
A video package runs focusing on “the year” of Seth Rollins. Rollins will defend the WWE United States and World Heavyweight Championships back-to-back next.
WWE United States Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. John Cena
We get ring introductions for the challenger John Cena and champion Seth Rollins.
Lock up and Cena backs Rollins to the corner. Cena with lefts and rights that cut off Rollins. Cena follows with a big elbow in the corner. Rollins with an elbow of his own and a blockbuster from the corner. Rollins with a right that drops Cena. Rollins gets a sleeper applied on Cena. Cena falls to a knee. Rollins props Cena up on the top turnbuckle. Cena with elbows. Rollins with rights. Cena falls into the tree of woe. Rollins jumps and stomps down over the chest of Cena, covers and gets a two count. The crowd in Houston starts up a wave and Rollins starts taking it in as Cena gets a flash roll up for two. Cena with his flying shoulder tackles. Rollins cuts him off with a neckbreaker. Rollins misses a splash in the corner and Cena plants Rollins. Rollins kicks Cena in the face and connects with a twisting takedown. Cena counters a Pedigree and plants Rollins once again. Cena with his rolling through sunset flip on Rollins for two. Rollins drops the jaw of Cena off the top rope. Rollins goes up to the top turnbuckle and eats a right hand from Cena. Rollins attempts a powerbomb to the corner. Cena counters with a huricanrana sending Rollins back first into the corner. Rollins and Cena exchange right hands and chops. Rollins counters an AA with a superkick. Rollins with a dive to the outside taking out Cena. Rollins tosses Cena back in, goes up top, jumps and misses a frog splash when Cena rolls out of the way. Cena with a tornado DDT on Rollins and gets a two count. Cena goes up to the top turnbuckle. Rollins cuts off Cena. Rollins with a suplerplex, rolls through and plants Cena with another big suplex. Cena gets the STF applied. Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins lifts up Cena and powerbombs him to the corner. Cena with a cross body. Rollins hangs on, rolls through, tosses Cena up on his shoulders, Cena counters and plants Rollins face first. Cena with a leg drop from the top. Cena with an AA on Rollins, hooks the leg and wins.
Winner and new WWE United States Champion: John Cena
After the match, John Cena celebrates with the WWE United States Championship. He goes to the ringside area celebrating with a young child. We see a shot of Seth Rollins grabbing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and trying to leave. Cena cuts him off and gives him an AA on the floor. Cena tosses Rollins back in the ring.
The lights go out. Here comes Sting.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sting
Sting immediately goes for a Stinger Splash and gets a piece of Rollins. Sting with a right hand and goes for the Scorpion Deathlock. Rollins grabs the ropes and breaks free. Rollins counters a Scorpion Deathdrop attempt. Sting tosses Rollins out of the ring over the top rope. Sting sends Rollins into the steel steps at ringside. Sting sends Rollins into the other steel steps. Rollins is walking away when Sting cuts him off with a right hand. Rollins rolls back in, Sting follows and Rollins cuts him off with kicks near the corner. Sting clotheslines Rollins over the top rope and Rollins falls into the announce table. Rollins grabbed a monitor, Sting grabs him by the hair and sends him into the barricade. Sting tosses Rollins into the other side of the barricade. They are back in and Sting is working over Rollins right more rights. Sting sends Rollins back first to the corner. Sting does this a second time to Rollins and Rollins quickly rolls out. Sting drags Rollins up to the top of the announce table. Rollins pushes Sting away. Sting goes flying back and crashing through the Spanish announce table! Sting landed with a thud. Rollins grabs the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and teases heading to the back. Rollins drops the title and walks back to where Sting is just recovering. Rollins slams Sting over the broken announce table, tosses Sting back inside, hooks the leg and Sting kicks out after two. Rollins hits the ropes and hits his jumping twisting neckbreaker. Rollins with a forearm and front suplex on Sting. Sting with right hands. Rollins plants Sting in the corner with a big powerbomb. Sting counters a Pedigree attempt. Rollins with a springboard. Sting catches Rollins on the top rope and launches him off to the barricade at ringside. Rollins is back in. Sting drops him with clotheslines. Stinger Splash in the corner. Second Stinger Splash to Rollins and then clotheslines Rollins over the top rope. Sting is fired up. Sting goes up to the top turnbuckle, jumps and takes out Rollins on the outside! A loud “YOU STILL GOT IT” chant breaks out in Houston. Back in the ring, Scorpion Deathdrop on Rollins! Sting hooks the leg and Rollins gets his boot on the bottom rope. Sting backs up, charges and hits another Stinger Splash. Sting with repeated right hands to Rollins. Rollins has Sting up on his shoulders and connects with a corner powerbomb. Rollins with a kick to the body. Rollins sends Sting to the ropes, Sting ducks and then falls to the ground. WWE’s ringside doctor is checking on Sting. Rollins is already celebrating. We see a replay of the corner powerbomb and how it may have roughed up Sting. Back live, Sting is still trying to recover. The WWE doctor leaves the ring and we restart the match. Sting counters a Pedigree attempt into a Scorpion Deathlock! Rollins is screaming out in pain. Rollins gets to the bottom rope. Sting has Rollins down in the Scorpion Deathlock again. Rollins rolls through to counter and gets the shoulders of Sting down. The referee counts and Rollins picks up the win.

After the match, Sheamus runs down with his briefcase in hand. Sheamus hits the ring and takes out Seth Rollins with a Brogue Kick! Sheamus wants to cash in.
Kane’s pyro goes off and walks out. Kane with a chokeslam on Seth Rollins. Sheamus gets back in and wants Kane to give Rollins another chokeslam. Kane instead grabs Sheamus and gives him a chokeslam. Kane then gives Rollins a Tombstone Piledriver. The show comes to a close with Kane standing over a knocked out Rollins.
