The NXT intro takes us to a packed crowd at the Toyota Center as commentary hypes exclusive footage from the WarGames match at Takeover, as well as the main event of Pete Dunne defending his WWE United Kingdom Championship against Johnny Gargano.
Back at ringside, Ruby Riot (as seen on Smackdown Live!) makes her way to the ring for the opening match of the night. We get footage from Smackdown Live last night as Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan make their presence known to the women’s division.
Commentary notes this match is about Sonya and Ruby settling a score as Sonya makes her way to the ring next. We get footage from RAW on Monday as Sonya made her debut with Mandy Rose and the returning Paige. Back at ringside, the bell rings to get this match underway!
Ruby Riot vs. Sonya Deville
Both women lock up, and Ruby is taken to the corner by Sonya. They lock up again, looking for an advantage before Ruby hits an arm drag on Sonya. Sonya gets a waist lock on Ruby, and they exchange holds on the canvas as Ruby is now trying to break out of the hold. O’Connor Roll by Sonya gets a one count, and Ruby escapes a submission attempt to get a nearfall of her own. Sonya goes for a leg sweep but Ruby jumps to avoid it. Riot takes Sonya to the corner, driving her shoulder into Deville before unloading with a flurry of kicks. Sonya takes control with a leg sweep, but only gets a two count as we go to break.

Back from break, Sonya is in control as she charges into Ruby in the corner. Sonya with a forearm as Ruby dodges, getting a rollup for a nearfall. Ruby charges at Sonya, who hits a spinebuster for a nearfall. Sonya with some ground and pound and Ruby gets up, but Sonya hits a roundhouse kick to the midsection for a nearfall. Sonya locks up the leg, working the knee as Ruby struggles to break the hold. Ruby turns it over, finally getting out of the hold as she gets to the corner. Ruby hits a forearm on Sonya before getting back in, driving Sonya’s head to the canvas! Ruby is hurt from earlier as she and Sonya get back to their feet, and Ruby hits a set of chops and elbows on Sonya, who who shoves Ruby to the ropes but takes an STO from Ruby who hits a springboard senton using one leg for a nearfall. Sonya back in the corner, driving Ruby’s face to the canvas before hitting a Shining Wizard, and locks her in a triangle armbar! Ruby struggles to get the rope, but Sonya changes it into an ankle lock! Ruby is in the middle of the ring, inching toward the ropes, barely getting to the bottom rope to break the hold! Sonya argues with the ref, walking right into a cyclone roundhouse kick as Ruby picks up the win!
Winner via pinfall: Ruby Riot
Good, fun opener between Riot and Deville here. Good way to put this feud to an end as they focus on their respective call-ups. #WWENXT

Ruby is still favoring her leg as we get replays from the match. Ruby manages to get to her feet to celebrate, as commentary talks about Aliester Black vs Velveteen Dream and Kassius Ohno vs Lars Sullivan at Takeover.

We go to an interview from after Takeover, as Lars talks about his match, saying tonight was only the beginning. Tonight was my first big test, and I persevered, and I dominated unequivocally, emphatically, and categorically! He sends a message to the rest of the locker room saying they will be destroyed by his hands only. He walks off as we go to Gargano, warming up for his match coming later tonight. Commentary hypes up a look at the Women’s Championship match from Takeover later tonight, but up next we’re looking at the new NXT Champion, Andrade “Cien” Almas!

Back from break, commentary talks up the Fatal 4-Way Match at Takeover for the NXT Women’s Championship!

We go backstage for an interview with the new champ, Ember Moon. She talks about this being a dream for her, everything she’s been through finally paid off as she holds the title. She will continue to do what she does to defend the title! With that, commentary hypes up the NXT Championship match from Takeover as Drew McIntyre defended the title against Andrade “Cien” Almas!

Backstage, we hear from the former champ Drew McIntyre who has an ice pack on his arm as he addresses his injury. He promises that no matter what happens, he’ll be back to get his NXT title back. Commentary transitions to hype for the footage from the WarGames match, and that is coming up next!
– AD: NXT: From Secret to Sensation –
Back from break, we thank Marmozets for “Play,” one of the theme songs for Takeover! Commentary talks about the rivalry between Street Profits and Tito Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss, and we go to last week as Street Profits celebrate their win when Sabbatelli and Moss confront them, challenging them to another match. Street Profits accept as Tino and Moss back away, and the Street Profits go back to celebrating as commentary hypes that match set for next week, as well as Kairi Sane taking on Peyton Royce. With that we go to the hype package for the main event of Takeover: WarGames!

Backstage we find SAnitY walking out, still bloodied from what happened. We also see Undisputed Era walking off, with Adam Cole saying this is their time and everyone knows it now. We then go to Pete Dunne getting ready to defend his United Kingdom Championship. That main event is up next!

Back from break, we thank Power Trip for “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Ax),” one of the theme songs from Takeover! Back at ringside, Johnny Gargano makes his way to the ring for our main event! Out next is the United Kingdom Champion himself as Pete Dunne heads to the ring. Crowd chanting “Bruiserweight” and “Johnny Wrestling” as the bell rings to get this main event underway!
Main Event: WWE United Kingdom Championship
Pete Dunne (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
Both men start out quickly exchanging holds, with Dunne getting the upper hand with a front face lock. Johnny back to his feet, trying to break out but Dunne has a strong grip. Gargano gets out but Dunne takes him down with a side headlock takeover. Dunne backs away before hitting a hard forearm on Gargano, and Dunne continues the attack with a hard chop. Gargano turns things around, hitting a dropkick before Dunne heads out of the ring. Gargano catches Dunne with a kick and then a cannonball off the apron! Crowd still divided as Gargano goes for a Tornado DDT off the apron, but it’s reversed into an X-Plex by Dunne as we go to break!

Back from break, Dunne is in control as he works the fingers of Gargano before stomping his hand. Dunne goes right back to work on the fingers before locking in a body scissors. Gargano struggles before hitting a suplex that sends Dunne into the turnbuckle! Gargano hits a chop but uses his bad hand, so he changes it up and hits a couple more before he gets a dropkick in. Dunne avoids being slammed into the turnbuckle again, but Gargano catches him with a slingshot spear through the middle rope for a nearfall! Dunne rolls out of the ring to catch a breather, and Gargano goes for a dive through the middle rope, hitting Dunne with a Tornado DDT onto the floor! Gargano gets Dunne back in the ring, still favoring his hand has he gets on the apron for another DDT but Dunne catches him with an X-Plex for the nearfall! Dunne with some hard kicks to the head of Gargano before going for the Bitter End…but Gargano catches him with a spike DDT! Gargano with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors into the Gargano Escape, and Dunne spits out his mouthguard and starts biting the fingers of Gargano! He’s forced to let go, and Gargano has to break the hold. Dunne going for a Bitter End but gets rolled up by Gargano for a nearfall. Dunne catches Gargano with an enziguri, but Gargano responds with a hard lariat! Both men are down now as Gargano crawls toward Dunne, when he notices the mouthguard. He grabs the mouthguard, getting back to his feet when he realizes this mean Dunne’s mouth isn’t protected. Gargano tosses the mouthguard aside before hitting Dunne with a hard superkick that gets him a close nearfall! They exchange blows before Gargano hits a series of forearms. He goes for a slingshot spear again, but Dunne catches him with a Bitter End for the win!
Winner via pinfall and still WWE United Kingdom Champion: Pete Dunne
The champ celebrates in the ring as we get replays of the match. Gargano is distraught at ringside as the show comes to a close.
