Backstage Sheamus is eating and Cesaro is asking him what he’s doing. Sheamus says he is eating lucky charms because it’s the only thing that makes him feel better after losing to Xavier Woods last week. Cesar says that if it was him, Woods would not have gotten away with it so easily. Sheamus says if he thinks he can do better, why doesn’t he face Woods tonight. Cesaro says that’s a great idea because no one makes a fool out of them two weeks in a row.
Cesaro opens his bag and it’s filled with pancakes. Sheamus laughs and opens his bag which is full of pancakes as well.
That opening promo by Paige was so cringeworthy (I blame the writing) but the match between The Miz and Jeff Hardy was the opposite. The Miz continues to look good against anyone and Jeff (despite the loss) came out looking sharp. Solid opener to #SDLive.

Shinsuke Nakamura is backstage with Renee Young. Young mentions that Nakamura has not been cleared to wrestle tonight and asks him if his feud with AJ Styles is over. Nakamura says “No… speak English.” Young tells him they know he can speak English. Nakamura says he forgot how to speak English.
They air clips from the women’s WWE Smackdown Live title match from Backlash between Charlotte and Carmella.
A clip of Carmella backstage saying “she beat Charlotte Flair and it’s time to party. But not in Baltimore but next week in London, England. She will throw a Royal Mellabration.”
I think I'm done with the AJ Styles and Nakamura feud. While Shinsuke has grown into the heel role, I'm just not feeling the feud anymore. What I am liking are Carmella's promos. They really are money lately. Would like to see her hold on to the title. #SDLive

Backstage, Daniel Bryan says the stakes are so high tonight that he will fight throguh the pain from Backlash. He made Big Cass tap out and tonight is the first step into winning the Money in the Bank contract and the last time he had it, he cashed it in on the Big Show to become champion. He says tonight he will fight, he will find a way.
Two entertaining matches to kick off #SDLive. I continue to be impressed by the IIconics. I liked the commentary teasing Charlotte's left knee. Iiconis much the bigger (ans better) heela rhan The Riott Squad and Absolution.

Backstage, Renee Young is with AJ Styles. Young mentions that just like Nakamura, he is not cleared for tonight. Styles says yes, he got to Nakamura’s level but he doesn’t want to fight like that. However, he will if he has to. Styles says if Nakamura has the guts to get in the ring with him, he will finish him. Styles says this is the house that AJ Styles built.
Make that a hat trick of fun matches tonight on #SDLive. This time Cesaro and Xavier Woods. I know he's been there for a few years but damn is Cesaro athletic for someone his size. Still impressive.

I get they are trying to build Mandy Rose up but that was not pretty at all. A sloppy match and a weird ending. Neither Mandy nor Becky came out looking good out of that one.

Surprised they pulled the trigger and had Rusev defeat Daniel Bryan. Winning the Money in the Bank could be what Rusev's career needs right now. And a clean win at that (if you disregard Aiden English pulling Rusev to the outside). #SDLive

Three very good matches, one meh and one surprise ending to #SDLive. After attending last week's show live (and it being a bad one), good to see the blue brand bouncing back.
