Are you ready? Then stop questioning your heart and join me because it’s time for Monday Night RAW!
AJ is out to kick off the show and announce some matches for tonight. Big Show v. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan v. John Cena, and —
CM Punk’s music hits and he comes out to interrupt. He says that he is a man that lives his life with no regrets. He is man enough to know when he makes a mistake. Last week he did something that he’s not proud of and he wishes that he could take back. He lost his temper so he is out here to apologize to AJ. The RAW GM does not deserve to be disrespected, just like the Champion doesn’t deserve to be disrespected. He tells AJ that he is sorry.
AJ accepts the apology. Punk thanks her and says that with her responsibility as GM she will make mistakes, just like last week when she put Punk in a Triple Threat Match at Summerslam. He asks her to cancel the match as an apology. AJ admits she will make mistakes, but that match was not one of them. Her decision will stand.
Punk asks if this is her payback for him rejecting her when she proposed. Punk tells her not to be the evil RAW manager that sticks it to the guy that everyone likes. Punk wants the match canceled and this all put to bed.
Cena’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He says that Punk has become one of those guys who come out every week and “demands” respect. Cena says you don’t demand respect, you have to earn it. *Let’s go Cena, Cena sucks*. Cena says that he has to fight each and every day for respect. So, if you want to play the blame game for the Triple Threat that’s on Punk. There was going to be one opponent, but Punk decided to interfere and ended up with two opponents.
Punk says that Cena has become the guy that turns a blind eye to facts. He didn’t stick his nose into the match; Cena stuck his nose into Punk while he was in commentary. Cena came flying over the commentary booth. Punk was simply retaliating. Punk will not be disrespected by Cena, Big Show, or anybody. Cena tells him to yap it up for the next two weeks because after Summerslam he is not going to be the Champion.
The Big Show’s music hits and he comes down to the ring. Punk complains that the two #1 Competitors have a match tonight but he doesn’t. AJ replies that before Punk interrupted her, she was going to put him in a match. He asks who his opponent will be. AJ says that she doesn’t know – the WWE Universe will decide. They will choose between The Miz, Kane or Rey Mysterio. That match is next!
