Update (12:28 a.m. ET): WWE.com has now confirmed EC3’s signing to NXT.
Former Impact Wrestling star EC3 was shown at ringside by WWE during tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia before the Andrade “Cien” Almas/Johnny Gargano main event.
EC3 (Michael Hutter) was rumored to have been spotted in Philadelphia earlier today, just a week after he was reportedly spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
No indication was given at this time by WWE or any other wrestling media source if Hutter has indeed agreed to terms on a deal with the company, but it is likely to trend in the direction given that he was shown on camera on Saturday night.
Hutter retweeted a mention from WWE and also responded to a tweet by Matt Hardy.
