TMZ.com is reporting that plans are underway for Hulk Hogan to return to the WWE. Hogan and WWE have been in talks recently and from what’s being reported, it’s all positive.
Hogan was reportedly asked to go to Saudi Arabia for the Greatest Royal Rumble. One member of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia specifically asked for Hogan.
WWE has worked hard to separate itself from Hogan over the last three years after tapes were leaked of Hogan making racially charged comments back in the summer of 2015. In the years to follow, Hogan would remain in the spotlight winning a lawsuit against the website Gawker and being awarded a reported $140 million in damages.
In March, WWE confirmed that they have been in talks with Hulk Hogan, but no deal had been reached and that they were simply in discussions.
According to TMZ, the WWE has shown interest in bringing Hogan back and he is all for it. Per the report, they have to make sure it’s done “the right way.”
A source close to TMZ mentioned that the WWE was paying close attention to Hogan’s speech at the Boys & Girls Club on Wednesday of this past week.
