A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Bound for Glory. We go live to Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show. No pyro tonight. They discuss the card tonight.
Rob Van Dam is out first to kick off the show.
TNA X Division Championship
Zema Ion (c) vs. Rob Van Dam
RVD with a series of kicks and a springboard dropkick early on that sends Ion out of the ring. Back in the ring, Ion dropkicks RVD in the knees to send him down face first. Ion with a twisting corkscrew dive on RVD from the corner. RVD crotches Ion on the top rope and RVD comes off the top turnbuckle with a kick to the face sending Ion to the floor. Ion with a big spike DDT that results in a two count. Ion sends RVD into the exposed guard railing launching him off the top turnbuckle. Ion with a big flip dive taking out RVD over the top rope. Ion drops the jaw of RVD off the corner, goes up top and then connects with a missile dropkick. Ion slows things down applying an abdominal stretch. RVD with Rolling Thunder on Ion. RVD then comes off the top with a Five Star Frog Splash. RVD hooks the leg and gets the win.
Winner and new TNA X Division Champion: Rob Van Dam
Backstage, Jeremy Borash plugs TNA’s social media and the #TNABFG tag on Twitter. Magnus now joins Borash who asks a question from a fan asking if tonight is the most important night of his career. Magnus says he is a free man and has “broken out of political prison.” He said Samoa Joe can’t hide behind Hulk Hogan and the front office.
TNA Television Championship
Samoa Joe (c) vs. Magnus
Lots of locks and submission attempts between the two early on. Joe with a body splash and kick to the head combo on Magnus in the corner. Joe with some stiff jabs to Magnus. Magnus with a big right using the referee as a distraction to Joe. Joe fires back with a huge chop. Magnus then immediately levels Joe with a clothesline. Magnus with a high knee on Joe. Magnus drops an elbow over the back of Joe. Magnus with a big sitting scoop slam on Joe. Joe landed pretty awkwardly on his neck. Joe with an atomic drop, big boot and body splash combo over Magnus resulting in a two count. Joe with a quick powerbomb, Magnus kicks out and Joe turns Magnus over into a Crossface. Magnus was crawling towards the ropes and both Taz and Tenay said it appears he was tapping even though he was reaching. Joe then pulls back the arms of Magnus. Magnus extends his leg to get the rope break. Magnus with a high knee to the jaw of Joe. Magnus connects with a top rope elbow drop, hooks the leg and Joe kicks out after two. Magnus gets out of a rear naked choke into a pin. Joe breaks that up and Magnus with a chop block. Magnus goes for a Figure Four, but Joe counters into a rear naked choke. Magnus taps.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Bobby Roode. Roode talks about how this match was one year in the making. We then see a video package hyping the match.
Street Fight Match
Special Guest Enforcer: King Mo
Bobby Roode vs. James Storm
Referee Earl Hebner is handling the referee duties in the ring as King Mo observes at ringside. Storm with a ton of quick offense early on including a high knee to the head of Roode with Roode extended over the apron. They brawl around the ringside area and Roode gets in the face of Mo. Storm with a side russian leg sweep sending the back of Roode into the exposed guard railing. Storm attempts his Eye of the Storm, but Roode counters out and then catapults Storm into the steel ring post. Storm is busted open. Roode grabs a steel chair from under the ring. Roode hits Storm in the ribs and then cracks it over his back. Storm has a kendo stick and cracks it over the back of Roode. Roode sends Storm over the top rope to the entrance ramp connected to the ring. Storm pulls Roode through the ropes and connects with a DDT. Storm’s face is covered in blood. A fan hands Roode a crutch and hits Roode in the ribs with it. Roode is now busted open. Roode and Storm exchange shots with trash can lids to the face. Some blood hits the camera. Roode with a spinebuster to Storm over the ramp. Storm grabs a beer from a fan and takes a drink. Storm sends Roode on top of the announce table that has a glass top. Roode then tackles Storm on top of a table breaking it near the announce table. Back in the ring, Roode hooks the leg and Storm kicks out.
Taz and Tenay note that the announce table is now covered in blood. Roode gets in the face of referee Earl Hebner over the count. King Mo jumps in and pushes Roode. Storm with knees to the face of Roode. Storm calls for the Last Call superkick, hooks the leg and Roode kicks out after two. Roode blocks another Last Call attempt and sends Storm face first into a steel chair in the corner. Roode rolls up Storm and Storm kicks out. Roode props Storm up on the top turnbuckle and leaves to grab a steel chair. Roode cracks the chair over the back of Storm. Roode tosses in a bag and opens it up. Roode pours out thumbtacks and spreads them across the ring mat. Roode jumps up with Storm, hooks his head, Storm starts throwing rights, Storm with headbutts and Roode falls back to the mat on top of the tacks. Roode is screaming in pain as we see tacks all across his back and body. Storm with a flying elbow off the top turnbuckle and Storm connects landing in part of the tacks as well. Roode with a legal low blow to Storm. Roode grabs a pack of beer bottles, takes a drink and gets in the ring with them. Storm then low blows Roode. Storm grabs a beer, takes a drink and then smashes it over the head of Roode. Roode falls into Storm who catches him. Storm pushes a dazed Roode back, connects with a Last Call superkick and Roode falls back first into the tacks one more time.
Storm covers Roode and gets the pinfall. Roode is seen pulling tacks out of his head.
Winner: James Storm
After the match, King Mo gets in the ring and raises the arm of James Storm. We then see highlights of the bloody brawl leading to the finish. Back live Tenay adds, “Take it JB. We need to clean up.”
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Joey Ryan. Ryan says he should have been given a TNA contract before having to take part in the Gut Check. He talks about the TNA audience approving of him, but the TNA brass deciding to take a pass. Ryan said that changes tonight when he defeats Al Snow he will become a full-time member of the TNA roster.

Joey Ryan vs. Al Snow
Al Snow gets on all fours and offers Joey Ryan an opportunity to lock up. Snow gets the better of Ryan and backs him into the corner. Snow messes with Ryan and drops him down face first. Ryan swings wildly and Snow dodges all of the attempted shots. Snow catches Ryan with an elbow, connects with a series of clotheslines and then finishes off Ryan with a big scoop slam. Snow with a headlock on Ryan. Ryan with a big right hand to Snow. Ryan with more right hands and he shows off to the crowd. Snow hooks the arms of Ryan and drops a few headbutts. Snow picks up Ryan and drops him on his head. Snow with a cover and Ryan kicks out. Snow goes under the ring and grabs Head. The referee takes it out of the hands of Snow and Ryan sends Snow into the referee in the corner for a referee bump. Ryan kicks Snow to the outside. Ryan picks up Head and kisses it. Ryan goes for a baseball slide and Snow wraps up Ryan in the ring apron. Snow lands some big bombs. Snow grabs Head and Matt Morgan appears taking out Snow with his Carbon Footprint big boot. Morgan tosses Snow back in the ring. Ryan hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Joey Ryan
After the match, Joey Ryan shakes the hand of Matt Morgan. Morgan looks in the camera and says, “TNA – I’m going to wipe out the whole roster. Tick tock.”
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with the TNA Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Borash wants to read a question from Twitter. Kazarian insults the fans who beg for retweets. Daniels talks about beating all of their opponents tonight one at a time. A video package runs hyping the triple threat for the TNA Tag Team Championships up next.
TNA Tag Team Championships
Christopher Daniels and Kazarian (c’s) vs. Kurt Angle and AJ Styles vs. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez
We start with AJ Styles and Chavo Guerrero when both Christopher Daniels and Kazarian to the ringside area. Styles trips up Chavo early on. Tag to Kurt Angle. Angle with a big uppercut. Daniels with a blind tag to Angle. Styles then tags himself in. Chavo with a headlock and tag to Hernandez. Hernandez with a bear hug which he then turns into a release overhead belly to belly suplex on Styles. Tag to Chavo who dives back in. Quick tag back to Hernandez who scoop slams Chavo over Styles. Hernandez with a diving splash and gets a two count. Kazarian tags himself in and Styles nails him with a dropkick. Tag to Angle who drops Kazarian with a back suplex. Chavo tags himself in and works over Kazarian in the corner with stomps. Tag to Hernandez who dead lifts Kazarian up to his shoulder and then drops down to his knees with force. Tag to Chavo who drops a leg. Styles tags himself in along with Daniels. Styles with kicks to the chest of Daniels. Styles with a snap head scissors takedown. Kazarian with a clothesline to Styles from the ring apron. Daniels and Kazarian with springboard dives over Styles. Daniels and Kazarian with quick tags working over Styles. Daniels hip tosses Kazarian over Styles. Kazarian with a monkey flip to Styles, Styles lands on his feet and connects with a Pele Kick. Hot tag to Angle who clears the ring. Angle focuses on Daniels.
Angle with a release german suplex on Daniels. Angle with a series of german suplexes to Kazarian. Angle still cleaning house. Angle with a release belly to belly on Kazarain from the top turnbuckle which takes out Daniels in the process. Angle with a release german suplex to Chavo. Kazarain with a slingshot DDT. Hernandez with a big pounce shoulder block to Kazarian. Styles takes out Hernandez off the top rope with a big forearm. Daniels with his STO to take down Styles. Daniels with a running dropkick to Chavo. Daniels with the BME to Angle. Hernandez with a big dive over the top rope taking out Daniels at ringside. Kazarian with a head scissors off the top rope and he lands really bad on his shoulder. Styles with a dive off the top rope to take out Hernandez, Daniels and Kazarian at ringside. Chavo suplexes Angle back in the ring. Chavo executes a second looking to connect with the Three Amigos. Angle counters and hits the Angle Slam. Hernandez attempts a Border Toss. Styles tags himself in and Angle drops down. Angle and Styles with a double suplex to Hernandez. Kazarian with a cutter on Styles. He yells at Daniels to win it. Daniels connects with the BME over Styles, hooks the leg and Styles kicks out. Daniels and Kazarian can’t believe it. Chavo pushes Kazarian away and then jumps off the top turnbuckle to take him out. Styles counters an Angel’s Wings.
Styles with a springboard inverted DDT on Daniels. Daniels fights out of a Styles Clash. Hernandez tags himself in and springboards himself in to connect with a shoulder block. Hernandez with a Border Toss to Daniels. Chavo comes off the top turnbuckle with a frog splash. Chavo covers Daniels.
Winners and new TNA Tag Team Champions: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez
After the match, Christy Hemme gets word from Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. Chavo says they did what they promised and dedicates this win to Eddie Guerrero.
A video package runs hyping Miss Tessmacher vs. Tara.
TNA Knockouts Championship
Miss Tessmacher (c) vs. Tara
Tessmacher goes for a pin early on. Tessmacher with a spinning head scissors on Tara. Tara is using the referee to avoid Tessmacher which sets up a big baseball slide. Back in the ring, Tara tosses Tessmacher to the corner and drives her shoulder into her body. Tara pushes the face of Tessmacher into the mat. Tessmacher changes a head scissors into a DDT. Tessmacher with big elbows to Tara and follows that up with some chops. Tessmacher with some fast clotheslines. Tessmacher goes up top and connects with a huricanrana to Tara. Tara is sent back to the mat from the corner as Tessmacher stands back up on the turnbuckle. Tessmacher misses a flying elbow. Tara sets up Tessmacher for Widow’s Peak and connects. Tara mounts Tessmacher and holds her shoulders down to get the pinfall.
Winner and new TNA Knockouts Champion: Tara
After the match, Tara grabs the mic and says her Hollywood boyfriend is what inspired her to become champion again. She reveals her Hollywood boyfriend is the star of “Big Brother” Jessie Godderz. They embrace and start kissing as the fans in Phoenix change, “Who are you?”
We see video highlights of the first ever TNA Hall of Fame ceremony featuring the induction of Sting.

No DQ Match
Aces and Eights vs. Sting and Bully Ray
Before the match, Bully Ray joins Sting and has his face painted. Members of Aces and Eights then come out with Joseph Parks and handcuff him to the guard railing. Sting and Ray go right after them as a big brawl breaks out at the ringside area. Ray drops an elbow over a member with Sting holding. A member then sends Ray shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Sting is also sent into the exposed steel guard railing when he misses a Stinger Splash. The action spills back in the ring and Sting is clotheslined immediately. Sting takes a big boot as well. The members exchange tags and keep working over Sting with repeated scoop slams. Sting fires up and goes for a Scorpion Deathlock. Sting gets it locked in with the other Aces and Eights member breaks it up. Sting catches one of the members with a Scorpion Deathdrop. Hot tag to Ray who drops both members with a series of clotheslines. Ray with a quick neckbreaker and flying shoulder block from the corner. Ray takes a kick to the back when hitting the ropes. Ray with a double clothesline to the members. One of the members grabs a chair, but Ray drops him with a big boot. A third member of Aces and Eights hits the ring and chop blocks Ray. This member spits in the direction of Joseph Park. Park breaks free from his handcuffs and hits the ring tackling the member. Park brawls with the member on the ramp. Back in the ring, the other two members of Aces and Eights work over Ray and Sting in opposite corners. Ray puts a member on his shoulders and Sting comes off the top rope with a flying clothesline. Ray splashes the other member and Sting finishes him off with a Stinger Splash. Ray grabs a table and sets it up in the ring. Another member hits the ring and drives Ray through the table. Another member covers Ray and gets the pinfall.
Winners: Aces and Eights
After the match, the remaining members of Aces and Eights hit the ring to attack Sting and Bully Ray. Hulk Hogan’s music hits and he walks to the ring. Hogan starts taking out the members one by one with big right hands. Hogan goes after the final member and starts hulking up. Hogan drops him with a big boot and wants Sting to remove the mask. Hogan removes the mask and it is Devon. Hogan and Sting can’t believe it. Devon shouts, “It was always me!” Bully Ray is shocked. Devon screams at Ray, “How do you feel!? How do you feel!?”

Austin Aries (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Jeremy Borash handled the ring introductions for the challenger Jeff Hardy and champion Austin Aries. Crowd in Phoenix is very pro-Aries tonight.
Jeff Hardy pushes Austin Aries with force from the corner after a lock up. Hardy with a big slap and Aries bails to the entrance ramp connecting to the ring. Another lock up and this time Aries pushes Hardy away. Hardy then tosses Aries with force into different corners of the ring. Aries with a quick side headlock takedown. Hardy breaks free and locks on a grounded head scissors. Aries fights out doing a headstand and Hardy with a double sledgehammer to the back. Hardy with big stomps to Aries in the corner. Aries with a big dropkick to the face of Hardy. Aries with a quick sledgehammer drop to Hardy over the ring apron and then goes on a victory lap around the ring. Hardy kicks the middle rope when Aries gets back in. Hardy with a big vertical suplex. On the outside, Hardy with a jumping side kick to Aries against the exposed guard railing. Back in the ring, Hardy catches Aries with an elbow and misses a Whisper in the Wind attempt. Aries comes off the second rope with a modified splash/elbow drop. Aries works over Hardy in the corner with right hands. Hardy catches Aries with boots in the corner, Hardy jumps over Aries and Aries gets his knees up. Aries drops Hardy over his knee and goes for a pin resulting in a two count. Aries with some big kicks to the chest of Hardy. Fans are chanting “LET’S GO HARDY – LET’S GO ARIES” as Aries drops more rights.
Aries with a snapmare to Hardy from the corner. Aries with a dropkick to the back of the head. Aries with another cover and Hardy again kicks out. Aries hooks the head of Hardy, attempts his Brainbuster, Hardy blocks it, lifts up Aries and drops him down in a front face suplex. Hardy hits the ropes and Aries drops him immediately. Aries with a springboard corkscrew splash that results in a quick two count pinfall. Aries applies a front facelock on Hardy to keep the action grounded. Hardy blocks a submission attempt. Hardy lifts Aries up for a powerbomb and then launches Aries over his head face first. Hardy with a series of right hands. Aries catches Hardy with a boot. Hardy pulls Aries off the corner and drops a leg over his chest. Hardy tosses Aries corner to corner and Hardy then connects with Whisper in the Wind. Hardy with the cover and Aries kicks out. Aries blocks a Twist of Fate attempt and bails to the outside. Hardy with a dropkick through the ropes sending Aries into the exposed guard railing. Hardy then springboards himself over the top rope and Aries moves. Aries returns to the ring, hits the ropes and connects with a huge suicide dive. Aries with a second suicide dive and Hardy again goes into the guard railining. Aries tosses Hardy back in the ring, hooks the leg and Hardy kicks out. Aries is busted open. Aries then applies the Last Chancery submission.
Aries tosses Hardy to the entrance ramp. Aries goes for a brainbuster and Hardy blocks it. Aries tries to clothesline Hardy back in the ring and they both get tied up. Aries then gives Hardy a neckbreaker and Hardy’s head bounces off the end of the entrance ramp. Back in the ring, Aries and Hardy exchange rights. Hardy with a Twist of Fate, cover and Aries kicks out. Aries with a top rope huricanrana on Hardy off the top turnbuckle. Aries with a brainbuster on Hardy, covers and Hardy kicks out. Aries can’t believe it. Aries ties up Hardy on the top turnbuckle, misses a double foot stomp and Hardy with a Twist of Fate. Hardy goes up top, jumps and connects with a Swanton Bomb. Hardy covers Aries and gets the win.
Winner and new TNA Champion: Jeff Hardy
After the match, Jeff Hardy celebrates with the TNA Championship. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Hardy is up on the turnbuckle celebrating his title win. We see a shot of a dazed Austin Aries trying to recover at ringside. The PPV goes off the air with Hardy walking around the ring with the TNA Championship over his shoulder.
