TNA Lockdown PPV Results

We are live and we see a shot of TNA Champion Magnus arriving to the arena and his challenger Samoa Joe arriving as well.
A video package runs hyping the steel cage involved in tonight’s Lockdown PPV.
A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Lockdown. We go live to the BankUnited Center. Doesn’t appear to be commentary at the moment. Out first is Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) to kick off the show.
Steel Cage – Six Man Tag Team Match
Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and Chris Sabin vs. The Great Muta, TNA X Division Champion Sanada and Yasu (Nakanoue)
We start with Chris Sabin and Sanada. Sanada with an abdominal stretch and then rolls around with Sabin. Sanada with a quick arm drag and Sabin recovers pushing him to the corner with some shoulder charges. Tags to Kazarian and Yasu. They both attempt shoulder blocks. Kazarian with a big elbow that drops Yasu. Yasu with a big hip toss and tags in The Great Muta. Muta with a big elbow drop on Kazarian. Daniels breaks up a submission and takes a dropkick from Muta. Muta sprays the green mist. Tag to Yasu who drops an elbow over Kazarian. Triple team on Yasu with Daniels getting the tag and keeping him grounded. Sabin gets the tag, holds Yasu down and Kazarian tags himself in dropping a leg. Kazarian and Daniels with repeated moonsaults over Yasu resulting in a two count. Yasu with elbows to Daniels, Kazarian and Sabin. Daniels breaks it up, tags in Sabin and all three triple team Yasu again for another two count. Tag to Sanada who takes out Daniels with a big huricanrana. Sanada busts out two big dropkicks and then a big cutter on Daniels for a two count. More triple teaming by Daniels, Kazarian and Sabin on Sanada. Muta with a submission on Daniels. Muta with a mist to Kazarian. Sanada with a moonsault on Daniels for the win.
Winners: The Great Muta, Sanada and Yasu
Rockstar Spud is out next. He introduces TNA President Dixie Carter. Dixie said she has a little insurance policy from New York to make sure her team wins tonight. She warns Jeff Hardy that he won’t be allowed to compete tonight and has security at all entrances to keep him out.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Velvet Sky who is taking fan questions tonight. Eric Young talks Team MVP vs. Team Dixie. He said everything changes after this match tonight.
Steel Cage Match
Mr. Anderson vs. Samuel Shaw
Before the match, Samuel Shaw walks around the ringside area and is looking for Christy Hemme. He grabs a mic and climbs to the top of the cage yelling, “Christy where are you? Somebody’s not keeping it professional. If Christy Hemme doesn’t get out here right now, I’m going to professionally end it all,” says Shaw. Shaw starts to stand up on top of the cage when Mr. Anderson’s music hits to cut him off. Anderson introduces himself on his microphone and says the cage isn’t high enough for Shaw anyway. He calls Shaw a creepy bastard and the crowd in Miami chants along.
Mike Tenay and Taz note the winner must escape the cage in order to win.
Anderson with a clothesline on Shaw early. We see a shot of Christy Hemme walking down to the ringside area. Anderson with right hands to Shaw. Shaw catches Anderson with a boot in the corner. Shaw blocks a Mic Check attempt. Anderson responds with a gutwrench powerbomb. Shaw gets up on the top turnbuckle and tries to escape when Anderson cuts him off. Shaw with big right hands and sends Anderson face first into the cage. Shaw knocks Anderson off the top turnbuckle to the mat below. Shaw continues to climb and Anderson is able to cut him off again. Anderson sends Shaw face first into the cage. Anderson grabs Shaw and connects with a back suplex off the top turnbuckle to the ring below. Shaw wants the cage door opened. He spots Christy at ringside. Referee Earl Hebner goes to open it up when Anderson sends Shaw into the door. Hebner goes flying to the floor. Anderson with a Mic Check on Shaw. Anderson with a second Mic Check on Shaw face first into the second turnbuckle. Anderson calls Shaw a “freaking weirdo” and starts climbing up the cage. Christy is cheering him on at ringside.
Shaw grabs Christy through a hole in the cage for the cameras. Anderson hits the floor. The referee is still out and can’t declare him the winner. Shaw pulls Christy in the cage. Anderson grabs the cage door key and starts to open the lock. Christy slaps Shaw. Anderson is in and drops Shaw with right hands. Anderson helps Christy out of the cage. Shaw with a low blow on Anderson. Shaw applies a standing choke on Anderson. Anderson tries to fight out, but falls to his knees and is out. Shaw exits the cage with referee Earl Hebner back up.
Winner: Samuel Shaw
After the match, Christy Hemme heads to the back. Hebner raises Samuel Shaw’s arm.
Backstage, Bobby Roode is talking with TNA Tag Team Champions The BroMans. Austin Aries walks up and is concerned about this “insurance policy” Dixie Carter was talking about. Roode said he takes the 10% stake in TNA if they win. They all argue. Roode says he is the captain and he gets to decide.
Footage is shown of Ethan Carter III attacking Kurt Angle preventing him from wrestling tonight at Lockdown. Angle was originally scheduled to face EC3.
Ethan Carter III is out next. He talks about the accomplishments of Kurt Angle calling him one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Carter adds that he is as well saying, “I am wrestling! I am wrestling!” He finds it odd that Angle scheduled surgery before Lockdown tonight and how he was deprived of his dream match. Carter promotes his open challenge tonight.
Former WWE star Bobby Lashley answers the challenge. EC3 screams on the mic that he isn’t part of the roster. He said he knows for a fact that Lashley doesn’t have a contract with TNA. Carter tells Lashley to leave. Carter goes for a right hand, Lashley ducks and connects with a big running powerslam on Carter. Lashley takes out Carter with a big spear.
Tenay and Taz wonder if Lashley is officially back with TNA. Lashley walks around the ringside area slapping hands with fans.

Backstage, we see Velvet Sky answering questions from fans on Facebook.
Backstage, TNA Champion Magnus talks about defending his title tonight against Samoa Joe.
Steel Cage Match
Manik vs. Tigre Uno
Both attempt dropkicks at the same time early on. Uno is able to catch Manik next with a dropkick. Manik with a snap head scissors from a head stand in the corner on Uno. Uno catches Manik with a big moonsault from the top rope for a two count. Manik dropkicks Uno into the side of the cage opening the door to the cage. The referee quickly closes it. Manik is sent into the ropes, hangs from them, Uno charges, Manik moves and Uno crashes into the side of the cage. Manik with a suplex into a back suplex on Uno. Manik applies a surfboard submission on Uno. Manik with some quick uppercuts on Uno. Manik with a backbreaker on Uno. Uno with a snap huricanrana off all three ropes. Manik catches Uno with a big boot. Uno fires back with a quick DDT. Manik with a big sitdown powerbomb on Uno for a two count. Uno with a high cradle facebuster on Manik. Uno with a twisting splash from the top turnbuckle and connects on Manik for the win.

Last Man Standing – Steel Cage Match
James Storm vs. Gunner
James Storm and Gunner started brawling right away as Gunner made his entrance. Storm busts a beer bottle over the head of Gunner at ringside. Gunner with a suplex on Storm to the floor around the ring. Gunner sends Storm shoulder first into the steel ring steps at ringside. Gunner grabs two steel chairs and gets in a right on Storm. Storm sends Gunner face first into the steel steps. Gunner responds with right hands. Storm shuts the door on Gunner. Storm opens the door, enters the ring and the match officially starts.
Storm is yelling at the referee to start the 10 count. Gunner is up around 4. Gunner catches Storm with an elbow. Storm catches Gunner with a quick DDT from the second turnbuckle and then starts choking him with the tag rope from the corner. Storm starts choking Gunner again with the rope. Storm with a low blow on Gunner. Storm starts laughing. Gunner with a quick chop to Storm. Storm tosses Gunner face first into the corner and Gunner gets fired up. Gunner with a knee to the gut of Storm in the corner. Gunner catches Storm with a high knee, but Storm cuts him off with a knee and knee to the face. Gunner grabs a piece bottom piece of the steel steps that was tossed in earlier and Gunner catches Storm in the face with it. The referee starts the count. Storm is up at 8. Gunner with rights yelling at Storm to stay down. Gunner blocks a Last Call, but Storm catches him with double knees to the face and then sends Gunner face first into the corner where a steel chair was. The referee starts the count. Gunner is up at 9. Storm with elbows and cracks a steel chair over the back of Gunner. The referee counts. Gunner is up at 5. Gunner catches Storm with a quick spear/tackle. Gunner with a modified F5 on Storm. Referee starts the count.
Storm is up around 8. Gunner steps on his hand and plants him with a modified chokeslam. Referee again starts the count. Gunner is going up to the top turnbuckle as the referee is counting. Gunner jumps attempting a flying headbutt when Storm tosses a steel chair in his face. Gunner is out. The referee starts the count on Gunner as Storm gets to his feet. Gunner is up at 9 right as Storm cracks a steel chair over his back. Storm yells at the referee to count. Storm sets up two steel chairs facing each other. Gunner is up around 6 when Storm looks to be hitting a powerbomb. Gunner counters and takes a forearm to the back from Storm. Gunner with an elbow and Storm with a big uppercut to Gunner who is now sitting on the top turnbuckle. Storm jumps up with him, grabs Gunner by the head, pushes Gunner back first into the cage, Gunner sends Storm face first into the cage two times and Gunner now with headbutts to Storm. Gunner looks over his shoulder at the steel chairs below. Gunner with a superplex on Storm over the two steel chairs! The referee starts the count. Gunner is up at 9. Storm is trying to fight up and can’t answer the count.
Winner: Gunner
After the match, we see highlights leading to the finish. Back live, Gunner celebrates his win.
We see footage from earlier tonight of Dixie Carter wanting to keep Jeff Hardy out tonight.
Backstage, The Wolves are fired up for tonight. MVP walks up trying to calm them down saying they need to be very careful tonight. He said they have a plan and need to stick to it. MVP wants them to be in control tonight and not to make any mistakes.

TNA Knockouts Championship – Steel Cage Match
Madison Rayne (c) vs. Gail Kim w/ Lei’D Tapa
Gail Kim with right hands and Madison Rayne responds with a few elbows early on. Kim with forearm shots to the back. Rayne catches Kim with another elbow in the corner and gets a close two count. Rayne with uppercuts, Kim fakes her out with a cross body and starts climbing up the cage. Rayne jumps up to cut her off. Kim has Rayne on her shoulders. Rayne locks the head of Kim and drives her head into the side of the cage. Rayne misses a flying cross body to Kim back in the ring when Kim moves. Kim tosses Rayne back first into the steel cage, pulls her up to the second rope and then drives her down face first into the mat for a two count. Kim with forearm shots to the back. Kim catches Rayne with a running corner clothesline. Kim with a backbreaker on Rayne. Rayne catches Kim with kicks to the face. Kim fires back in with a kick to the head. Kim charges at Rayne in the corner, Rayne moves and Kim hits the side of the cage really hard. That looked nasty. Rayne misses a boot to Kim when Kim goes up top. Kim continues climbing up the side of the cage. Kim hooks the head of Rayne and they go flying off the top rope to the ring below with Kim connecting with a neckbreaker on Rayne. Rayne somehow gets a shoulder up after two when Kim covers her.
Kim is trying to crawl out of the cage with Tapa opening the cage door. Kim is able to toss Rayne face first into the steel cage when Kim drops down being sent into the ropes by Rayne. Kim is now climbing up the cage on the other side and Rayne is right behind her. Kim is looking to hit Eat Defeat on Rayne. Rayne counters and drops Kim off the top rope. Rayne kicks Tapa off the side of the cage who jumped on from the outside. Rayne is now near the corner on the top turnbuckle and catches Kim with a big spear. Rayne gets the win.

Backstage, Samoa Joe calls Magnus a paper champion and tonight he reclaims his title.

TNA Championship – Steel Cage Match
Magnus (c) vs. Samoa Joe
Jeremy Borash handled the ring introductions for the champion Magnus and challenger Samoa Joe. The match will consist under “Joe Rules” aka no holds barred where you can only win the match by pinfall, knockout or submission.
The bell rings and here we go. Samoa Joe with a quick kick to the leg of Magnus. Joe with more kicks and Magnus responds with some rights and a headlock takedown. Joe works over the left arm/wrist of Magnus. Joe with headbutts to the wrist of Magnus. Magnus gets another headlock applied on Joe slowing things down. Joe breaks free and catches Magnus with an elbow. Joe with big jabs to and more strikes to Magnus in the corner. Joe with a running boot to the face of Magnus down in the corner. Joe with jabs, atomic drop, big boot and misses a back splash attempt over Magnus when Magnus moves. Magnus mounts Joe and drops some rights. Magnus with chops to Joe in the corner. Joe with more jabs backing Magnus to the corner. Joe misses a shot on Magnus in the corner. Magnus drops a quick elbow to the lower back of Joe. Joe fires back sending Magnus face first into the side of the cage. Joe does this a second time. Joe grabs Magnus’ head and sends it into the cage 10 times as the crowd in Miami chants along. Joe with an elbow and kick to the back of the head on Magnus against the cage. Magnus is now busted open as we see a shot of him smiling. Joe with big right hands to Magnus in the corner over the cut. Joe bites the head of Magnus with the blood on his face.
Joe with a snapmare, chop, kick and knee drop over Magnus. Magnus dodges another charge from Joe and Joe hits the cage with force. Magnus then grabs Joe and sends him face first into the side of the cage. Joe is now busted open. Magnus gets the Figure Four applied on Joe. Joe gets the Figure Four turned over on Magnus. Magnus with a drop toe hold and then gets a Camel Clutch applied on Joe. Joe with a big overhead belly to belly suplex on Magnus. Both men are down as the referee starts the count. Magnus catches Joe with a big boot. Joe with an atomic drop, big boot and back splash combo all connects. Magnus rakes the eyes of Joe. Joe immediately responds with a powerslam. Joe gets an armbar applied on Magnus. Magnus gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the submission. Magnus catches Joe with a flying elbow off the top turnbuckle. Magnus with rights. Joe is firing himself up. Joe with huge open hand slaps to Magnus. Joe puts Magnus up on the top turnbuckle, busts out a huge chop, Magnus is trying to climb out of the cage, Joe is hanging on and crotches Magnus on the top turnbuckle. Joe has Magnus up for the Muscle Buster and connects. Joe picks up Magnus and gets the rear naked choke applied. A hand pops up from the ring and breaks it up.
The arm grabs Samoa Joe and pulls him down under the ring. A lifeless Magnus is rolling around trying to recover. The crowd in Miami starts a loud “BULLSH*T” chant. We can seen an open hole in the ring map as Magnus crawls over to it. Joe starts to crawl out of the hole as Magnus backs up. We can see Joe kicking whoever is below the ring. Joe walks over to Magnus and chokes him lifting him to the top turnbuckle. Abyss then shows up with his board covered in spikes. Abyss hits Joe in the gut with it and tosses it aside. Abyss with a Black Hole Slam on Joe. Magnus looks at Abyss and starts to smile. Abyss nods his head. Magnus picks up a lifeless Joe, applies the rear naked choke, the referee raises the arm of Joe three times and Joe is out. Magnus gets the win.

After the match, we see highlights leading to the finish. Back live, we see Magnus holding up the TNA Championship and celebrating with Abyss.
Backstage, we can see Eric Young yelling at Magnus and Abyss.
Backstage, Dixie Carter is with Rockstar Spud talking with someone. He calls her brilliant and Carter is sending Spud to get her big surprise tonight. Bobby Roode walks in and wants to know what the big secret is tonight. He feels he needs to know as the captain. Carter said certain things are better left unsaid. She wants Roode to trust her. Roode said she doesn’t have the best track record. Carter said she already made this a handicap match tonight keeping Jeff Hardy out of it.

Lethal Lockdown – Steel Cage Match
Team MVP (MVP, Willow, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) vs. Team Dixie (Bobby Roode, Austin Aries and The BroMans)
Austin Aries (Team Dixie) and MVP (Team MVP) are out first to start the match. Aries with a quick bulldog on MVP and then floats over into a submission. Aries takes a break sitting on top of the top turnbuckle. MVP dodges a missile dropkick and connects with a T-Bone suplex on Aries. MVP with a cross chop, knee to the face and Aries recovers with a big elbow to the face. Aries eats a boot from MVP when he charges in. MVP with a running knee to the face on Aries in the corner. MVP with a scoop slam on Aries and drops a knee. MVP with big forearms across the face of Aries from a mounting position. Aries with a big dropkick to the face of MVP.
Time expires. Out next is Robbie E (Team Dixie). Robbie eats a big boot from MVP right away. Robbie and Aries begin the double team on MVP. Aries with a flying elbow to the back of MVP and Robbie follows with a knee drop from the second rope. Robbie starts to choke MVP with his boot in the corner. Aries jumps in and also starts to choke MVP with his boot as well.
Time expires. Out next is Eddie Edwards (Team MVP). Edwards with shots on Aries and Robbie. Edwards with big jabs and chops to Robbie in the corner. Edwards a huge flipping facebuster on Aries. Edwards sends Robbie into DJ Z (Zema Ion) who was climbing up the side of the cage. We see a shot of MVP choking Aries with his boot in the corner. Edwards with an elbow to Robbie. MVP and Edwards both launch Aries to the corner and Aries bounces off with force. They do the same to Robbie E in the other corner.
Time expires. Out next is Jessie Godderz (Team Dixie). MVP with a huge hip toss on Jessie right away. Jessie fires back with a big elbow to Edwards. The BroMans double team Edwards driving him down to the mat face first. More shots to Edwards in the corner by The BroMans including double knees from the ring apron area against the steel cage. Jessie with big kicks to Edwards in the corner including a big right hand. Jessie starts to choke Edwards with his boot. Aries chops the head of MVP.
Time expires. Out next is Davey Richards (Team MVP). Richards with a dropkick to Robbie E who pulls Jessie down with him in a DDT combo by accident. Edwards with a drop toe hold to Robbie and Richards follows it up with a kick to the face. MVP with shots to Aries in the corner. The Wolves double team Aries with MVP looking on setting it up. Jessie with shots to Edwards in the corner. The Wolves get single leg Boston Crab submissions applied on The BroMans. Aries breaks it up.
Time expires. Out next is Bobby Roode (Team Dixie). Roode and MVP get nose to nose and start to exchange shots. Roode plants MVP with a big spinebuster. Roode with a spinebuster to Edwards. Roode with a spinebuster to Richards. Roode yells, “My company!” Roode removes the wraps around the shoulder of Richards and kicks the shoulder of Richards in the corner. Crowd is chanting for Jeff Hardy who Dixie Carter said she would be keeping out of the match tonight. Time still counts down.
Time expires. Willow’s music hits (Team MVP). The arena goes black. When the lights return, we can see Willow standing on top of the steel cage and he jumps off taking out Team Dixie! Willow pokes his head through the opening in the cage as the Lethal Lockdown ceiling begins to lower with weapons attached. The ceiling lowers and Dixie Carter’s music hits. She would like to introduce the special guest referee for tonight’s main event. Bully Ray comes out. He was the insurance policy that Dixie was talking about earlier in the night.
Bully Ray opens the cage door and exchanges words with MVP. Ray pulls out a table as we see brawling in the ring with weapons. Roode hits Willow over the chest with a steel chair. We see a shot of Rockstar Spud setting up a chair for Dixie Carter to sit on from the top of the entrance ramp. Aries hits Edwards with a garbage can lid. He also gets in a shot on the bad shoulder of Richards. The BroMans hold up the lid and Aries dropkicks the lid into the bad shoulder of Richards. Roode gets a Crossface applied on Richards. Team MVP breaks up the Crossface. Willow tosses Aries face first into the side of the cage. Roode has a hockey stick and hits Willow with it. Edwards catches Jessie with a big boot and gets Robbie in a tree of woe in the corner. Richards with a kick to the chest of Jessie. The Wolves put a trash can over Jessie against Robbie in the tree of woe. The Wolves climb to opposite sides of the ring, jump at the same time and connect with a double dropkick (coast to coast) on The BroMans! Richards with big kicks to the chest of Aries. Aries with a Brainbuster on Richards over a steel chair! Aries misses a 450 and hits a trash can instead. Willow with a Twist of Fate on Aries. Willow goes up top and connects with a Swanton over Aries. Roode breaks up the pinfall and sends Willow crashing into the cage. Roode has MVP up on his shoulders when Bully Ray gets in his face. Roode drops MVP and argues with Ray. Ray with a Rock Bottom planting Roode in the middle of the ring. Dixie and Spud are upset. MVP kicks Roode in the face, covers and gets the pinfall.
Winners: Team MVP
After the match, MVP and Bully Ray have a stare down. Ray holds up the arm of MVP. Team MVP celebrates the win. We see a shot of an upset Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud at the top of the entrance area. MVP continues to celebrate at ringside as he walks up the ramp. He gets in Dixie’s face doing the throat cut motion. Dixie walks down the ramp and starts yelling at Bully Ray. Carter yells, “I own your ass!” Tenay and Taz talk about the ultimate double cross by Bully Ray tonight.
Bully Ray then grabs Bobby Roode, kicks him in the gut and powerbombs him through the table in the ring. The PPV goes off the air with Ray looking out to the crowd in Miami as Mike Tenay adds, “It’s a new day in TNA!”
