Although I wish it was my men, jumping the rails and punching every man, woman & nerd in this crowd and watching on TV. Corino says he is putting out a challenge to Nigel McGuinness. I have 3 of my best, Rhett Titus, Cliff Compton & Jimmy Jacobs. How about you send 3 of your best and we get it on right here and right now!

BJ Whitmer’s music hits and he & C & C run in and go after SCUM, leading to……..

Commercial

“Inside Ring of Honor”

Added to Border Wars next week on iPPV is an I Quit Match between BJ Whitmer & Rhett Titus, as well as in tag-team action the C & C Wrestlefactory against ACH & Tadarius Thomas.

We go to comments from Michael Elgin, who faces New Japan’s Karl Anderson next week on TV. Elgin says that reputations can be an intimidating factor. Karl Anderson has a big reputation, he’s known as one of the best in the world. He proved in Japan and he proved it at Supercard of Honor against Roderick Strong, But, Anderson is coming into Michael Elgin’s ring and I have my own reputation. A reputation of being one of the best, one of the strongest and one of the baddest men in ROH. Elgin says that Anderson better come prepared, because the ROH title means everything to me and now that I have a guaranteed title shot, nothing is getting in my way. They say God created all men equal, THEY WERE WRONG!!!

We go to comments from Kyle O’Reilly, who faces Davey Richards next week on TV as well. Kyle says that this match with Davey has been a long time coming. Ever since I met you, I knew I had to go through you to get my place on the mantle. Now its one-on-one, in New York City, our epic encounter. This hunt Davey has been on, well he’s chasing the dragon and it not only includes me, it includes Bobby Fish. Bobby Fish says he wouldn’t miss this match for the world, to watch your past finally catch up with your present. It will not end well for you.

Commercial

Back from commercial, we see highlights from last year’s Border Wars when Kevin Steen beat Davey Richards to win the ROH World Title. Back to the ring, Nigel McGuinness is in the ring and he introduces Adam Cole & ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe for a contract signing. Both sign the contract and both shake hands after doing so and it seems like the contract signing goes off without a hitch, until we hear the voice of Steve Corino to interrupt these proceedings.

We see SCUM in the crowd as Corino says this is your World Title match at Border Wars? Gimme me a break. Jay Briscoe shouldn’t be defending the title against Adam Cole. He should be defending it against the guy who will be the next ROH champion & the last ROH champion, our savior, referencing Matt Hardy. Corino says no one wants to see this match at Border Wars, so I have a proposal for you, Nigel. How about Jay Briscoe & Adam Cole wrestle the man who separated Jay’s shoulder, the Man-Beast, Rhino and a man who needs no introduction, the next ROH champion and MY best friend, Matt Hardy! Now that is a PPV main event!

Jay gets a mic and says instead of that being a PPV main event, how about we do this right here, right now! Jay removes the contract table and chairs as Nigel agrees to the match, which will be…….NEXT!!!!
