Quick results from last night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV in Las Vegas.
Kenny King def. Jushin “Thunder” Liger
The finish saw King offer a handshake to Liger, only to give Liger a spinebuster and pick up the win. After the match, King looked into the camera and thanked Austin Aries for showing him the way.
The Briscoes def. The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) to retain the ROH Tag Team Championships
The finish saw Jay hit the Jay Driller on Daniels on the floor. When Daniels was covered by Mark, he kicked out and Jay hit another Jay Driver to pick up the win to retain the titles. Kazarian suffered a bad cut during the match and was treated by medics.
Sumie Sakai def. Tenille Dashwood to retain the Women of Honor Championship
Sakai won via referee stoppage by applying an armbar, setup by a powerbomb by Dashwood. Dashwood passed out and the referee called for the bell.
Punishment Martinez def. Chris Sabin to retain the ROH TV Championship
The finish saw Martinez bring a steel chair inside the ring. Sabin hit a tornado DDT over the chair on Martinez. Martinez was able to recover, connect with a stomp and chokeslam to retain the championship. After the match, Jeff Cobb had a staredown with Martinez.
Bully Ray and Silas Young def. Flip Gordon and Colt Cabana in a Tables Match
The finish saw a referee bump take place just as Gordon connected with a 450 splash through a table over Young. With the referee still out, Ray attacked Gordon and pulled Young off the broken table. Ray put Gordon over the broken table and the referee awarded the win to them when he came to. During the match Ian Riccaboni (commentator) was shoved to the ground by Ray when Riccaboni checked on Cabana.
The Bullet Club (NWA World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes, IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll and Adam Page) def. Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Rocky Romero, Beretta and Chuckie T)
Scurll secured the win for the Bullet Club forcing Romero to tap out to the chicken wing. Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis was on commentary. After the match, Cody accepts a challenge from Aldis for the NWA 70th Anniversary show to make their championship match a best of three falls stipulation.
Jay Lethal def. Will Ospreay to retain the ROH World Championship
Lethal got the win by countering a huricanrana attempt into a powerbomb and connecting with the Lethal Injection to retain his title. After the match, Kingdom members TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia attacked both Lethal and Ospreay. Matt Taven later walked out and hit Lethal with a championship inside a case. Taven then revealed a new purple championship, dropping Lethal’s ROH Championship and declaring himself the real World Champion.
