BALTIMORE – Two days away from Judgment Day, SmackDown was the final stop before the event Sunday on pay-per-view.

The new World Heavyweight Champion Edge delivered his inaugural address to the world, only to have the former champion Batista get the last word. When these two collide Sunday at Judgment Day for the richest prize in the game, only one can walk out with the gold around his waist.

Also up for grabs this Sunday is the United States Championship currently held by Chris Benoit. The Rabid Wolverine will defend his title in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match against MVP. On SmackDown, Porter received a huge boost to his title hopes when he and Finlay attacked Benoit’s injured knee.

SmackDown Diva Ashley made her first appearance on SmackDown in weeks when she introduced rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who performed the official theme song of Judgment Day – “I Don’t Wanna Stop” – live for our fans. (WATCH) Ozzy will also be part of the next installment of Superstar to Superstar, exclusively on WWE.com. Osbourne narrowly escaped an encounter with the wannabe pop princess Jillian, who tried to sing her way into Ozzy’s good graces, but to no avail.

After returning to SmackDown last week and destroying Undertaker, Mark Henry is living up to his words of creating a path of destruction. Funaki was the unfortunate soul who drew the task of facing the World’s Strongest Man, as the self-proclaimed silverback once again demolished a Superstar to prove he may be the king of the SmackDown jungle.

One SmackDown Superstar who is also no stranger to destruction is Kane, who continued his rivalry with William Regal when they went one-on-one. The Big Red Monster was able to get the victory with a little help from Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman, who were once again in the corner of Kane.

From the corner to the Other Side of the Tracks, the WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce & Domino teamed with the Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero to take on Paul London, Brian Kendrick & Jimmy Wang Yang in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. The team of London, Kendrick & Yang were victorious when SmackDown’s resident redneck pinned the Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero.

Finally, General Manager Theodore Long welcomed Vickie Guerrero into his office for an interview to be his assistant after a little push from his girlfriend Kristal. Vickie claims she has changed her ways and is living positive, but will that put her in the good graces of SmackDown’s GM?
