Christian vs. Chris Jericho
Trish Stratus is with Christian and there’s the bell, the match is underway. Back and forth action until Christian slaps Jericho across the face. This makes him mad and he takes control of the match and lays the boots to him. Y2J maintains the advantage using a dropkick from the second rope for a close two. Now the match goes back and forth using brawling. Now we see the reversals by both getting close pins. Y2J tries to put in the Walls of Jericho but Trish jumps in the ring. Christian get thrown out of the ring and Y2J lays Trish on his knee and spanks her before Christian can grab her and get her out of the ring. Y2J jumps from the apron and nails both of them.

Y2J tries to throw Christian back in the ring and he cheats and throws Y2J to the outside. Christian puts Jericho in the ring. Christian distracts the ref as Trish slaps Jericho and after getting stopped a second time gives Jericho a kick outside the ring. Now Christian is in the ring using a chin lock to slow the match down. Y2J gets out and Y2J actually gets a rollup for a 2 count. Christian all mad knocks Y2J down and lays his throat on the ropes. Christian is gloating with Trish at ringside which leads to a clothesline that knocks both guys down. Jericho now in control and lays Christian’s throat on the rope and hits him in the back with a knee. Close pins now used by both with Christian using the ropes to gain an advantage for the pin but gets a 2 count. Y2J catches Christian on the buckle and hits a superplex for a 2 count. The finish sees Trish try to slap Jericho and accidentally slaps Christian. Y2J grabs Trish and throws her in the ring. The referee goes to get Trish out while Y2J applies the Walls of Jericho on Christian when some huge guy runs in the ring and kicks Y2J right in the mouth. (Think a cross between Goldberg and Batista) He leaves the ring and stands at ringside as Christian pins Y2J for the victory.
Winner: Christian
Christian and Trish walk up the ramp with the huge guy close behind, Trish has no idea who he is.

Christian introduces Trish to the Problem Solver Tyson Tomko
Our Lady Peace music is heard which leads to the World Champ coming down to the ring. He salutes the fans in the ring doing the 4 turnbuckle salute with the belt and grabs a mic. He says it all started in Calgary in the Dungeon. He thanks Stu Hart for all the help with his career. He goes on to mention his wins at the Royal Rumble, WM XX and Backlash. All of a sudden, the most hated wrestler in Canada comes down, HBK. He grabs a mic and is basically challenging Benoit to a one on one match for the title tonight. Both guys are ready to go but Bischoff and Johnny Nitro come out. Bischoff says it’s a great idea but not this week. He wants it in two weeks in Phoenix cause this match needs to be properly promoted. HBK and Benoit shake hands with intensity.

Victoria comes down for our next match. It’s for the woman’s title
Victoria vs. Molly Holly
Molly starts the offense and hits a few moves and it’s your typical Molly vs. Victoria match until Victoria takes Molly’s wig off. Molly goes nuts and chokes out Victoria with an illegal choke and gets DQ’d when she doesn’t release the move. She doesn’t let go and takes 3 referees to break it up but Victoria is passed out.
Winner: Victoria
Evolution arrives to the building

A pre-recorded promo is shown by Kane. It was pretty creepy as he ends it by saying that tonight, he will sacrifice someone
Bischoff and Nitro are watching the promo and Regal comes into the office. After Regal complains about his assignment, Bischoff asks where Eugene is. Regal explains that they are playing hide and go seek. If Regal can’t find him it will be Regal vs. Kane.

Randy Orton comes out to cut a promo dressed in a suit and tie. Basically he thanks Mick for last night and recaps what happened last night with the barbed wire, trash cans, and thumbtacks. He now calls himself “Randy Orton, Living Legend”. All of a sudden, Edge comes to the ring. Edge gets in his face and demands that Orton spits in his face. Orton declines saying that Edge isn’t his time. Edge proceeds to beat him down until Batista and Flair run down and play the numbers game until Benoit runs down. This leads to HHH running down and Evolution takes care of Benoit. Evolution is at the top of the ramp when Bischoff makes the match for the main event. Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Batista and Ric Flair for the World Tag Titles.

Out to the top of the ramp comes the Coach. He introduces Garrison Cade and it appears we have our next match. Coach joins King and JR for commentary
Garrison Cade vs. Tajiri
This match is full of quick moves with Tajiri getting the early advantage. Cade is using brawling to get a two count on Tajiri. Cade uses a knee in the back to slow the pace of the match. Tajiri uses his quickness to regain the advantage. Tajiri misses with a moonsault which allows Cade to hit a huge flying elbow off the top for the win.
Winner: Garrison Cade

Smackdown Rebound shows the events with the Big Show quitting and throwing Angle off of the balcony.
We go to the ring where Eugene is firing the t-shirt gun firing shirts into the crowd. Regal comes down to the ring to get Eugene out by after trying to talk Eugene to drop the T-shirt gun and Eugene shot him right where you don’t want to get a shirt shot at you, right in the crotch. Regal in pain and Eugene leave the ring.

Edge and Benoit are talking backstage as Benoit pumps up Edge with a pep talk.
Lita comes out for a mixed tag match
Lita & Val Venis vs. Gail Kim & Matt Hardy
Before Hardy can make it to the ring, Kane comes out and goes to the ring and choke slams Val Venis. Kane teases an attack on Lita before Matt Hardy runs down to make the save. Kane beats the crap of Hardy before making his exit.

Hirohito promo is shown. (Although they just show war clips of Japan in WW2, think like Ludvig Borga promos before he made his appearance)
Ric Flair and Batista come out and we are set for our main event
World Tag Team Titles
Ric Flair & Batista vs. Chris Benoit & Edge
Benoit is starting this match against Ric Flair. Benoit wears down Flair and then tags in Edge. Edge has Flair in the corner and chops away at the legend. Flair gives him a thumb to the eye and chops Edge down. Flair tags in Batista and he is using his power moves to dominate Edge. Edge tries to take down Batista but can’t. Benoit gets tagged in and lays the boots to Batista before hitting a nice suplex. Edge gets tagged back in and gets hit by a huge clothesline before Flair gets tagged back in. Flair works on the broken hand of Edge before tagging Batista back in. Batista works on the arm before Flair can be tagged back in. Now they are trading chops in the middle of the ring when both go down at the same time. Edge crawls over and tags in Benoit. Benoit outwrestles Flair and applies the Sharpshooter on Flair. Batista interferes and Benoit throws Batista out and applies the Crossface. HHH runs to the apron to distract Benoit as Batista again interferes and hits a spine buster on Benoit for a two count.

Batista is in control of Benoit with HHH now at ringside. Batista is dominating the action and distracts the ref as HHH chokes Benoit on the outside. (Crowd chanting we want Bret) Batista is using a reverse chin lock to slow the match down. The finish sees Batista setting up Edge for the Power bomb but Edge clocks Batista with the cast. Benoit goes and hits the huge head butt but gets dragged out of the ring by HHH. HHH was starting to beat him down but HBK runs down and super kicks HHH. Edge goes and spears Batista for the pin and the victory.
Winners: New World Tag Team champions, Edge & Chris Benoit
