Report: TNA to hold first Canadian PPV on September 14 in Oshawa, info
On Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 6:18 PM EST According to a new report by Dave Meltzer in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA Wrestling's first Canadian PPV event is scheduled to be held this year on September 14 in Oshawa, Ontario for the No Surrender PPV.
TNA will be holding the event in the same arena they held a house show in back on December 30, 2007 that featured then TNA World Champion Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage in the main event. They did a big house show gate for that event and had made plans since then to return for a bigger event. They will more than likely bill at as taking place in Toronto as that sounds better with Oshawa roughly an hour outside the Toronto area. This was done before with the Lockdown PPV taking place in Lowell, MA, but being billed as Boston. There is a chance this PPV will feature the first Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Nash match or the previous month's Hard Justice PPV on August 10 in Trenton, NJ will feature it.
