According to reports, the current plan for CM Punk is for him to hold the ECW Title until John Morrison returns to the ECW roster from his suspension. Plans can always change, but the plan as of now is for Punk to lose the title back to Morrison when he returns.

As confirmed yesterday, Matt Sydal has officially signed a deal with WWE and is now expected to be reporting to Ohio Valley Wrestling once he completes the remainder of his independent obligations. Sydal is slated to join OVW at the end of September.

Speaking of OVW, Triple H and Shawn Michaels are scheduled to visit the promotion today in Louisville, Kentucky to observe the developmental process and help scout and advise talent.
