Trademark infringement lawsuit between DPP & Jay-Z now settled; info
On Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 5:24 PM EST PWInsider is reporting that Diamond Dallas Page's trademark infringement lawsuit against rapper Jay-Z was officially settled on July 10 with the court signing off on a settlement agreement made between the two parties.
According to reports, the settlement is said to have included a specific fee paid to Page, who in return has now dropped all claims in regards to the situation. Each side was responsible for their legal fees. The lawsuit, which had been going on for a while now, was started by Page stating that Jay-Z was using his "diamond cutter" signal that was trademarked by Page as part of his wrestling character.
