WWE Hall of Fame Update - Status of Dusty Rhodes, & rumored names
On Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 4:50 PM EST According to reports, a decision was made last week to not induct Dusty Rhodes into the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this year on April 1 in Chicago, IL. The early word is that WWE would like to save Rhodes for another Hall of Fame down the line since a majority of the focus will be on Bret Hart and Eddie Guerrero this year.
It should be noted that other names rumored for the Hall of Fame this year include Arn Anderson, Tony Atlas and Sherri Martel. If Martel was to be inducted this year, it would mark the second female WWE Hall of Famer behind The Fabulous Moolah. We will continue to cover this situation as it will no doubt develop over time.
