Early Survivor Series PPV buyrate, Angle announcement, + Supershow
On Saturday, December 24, 2005 at 8:39 PM EST The early estimate for WWE's Survivor Series PPV buyrate is coming in around 375,000 buys. This early number is a bit lower than last year's show that drew 400,000 buys and the 2003 event that drew 450,000 buys. The early number is still about 25,000 buys higher than the 2002 buyrate.
According to a commercial airing on the USA Network, a preview for WWE RAW this Monday night indicates that Kurt Angle will have a shocking announcement. There is no mention of this in the current preview for RAW on WWE.com. It does state that all six competitors in the Elimination Chamber Match (including Angle) will be competing in "Beat The Clock" matches to determine the order of entry at New Year's Revolution inside the chamber.
Jeff Wilen of The Daytona Beach News-Journal has a column up detailing his trip to a recent RAW house show event. Wilen also confirms that a WWE Supershow will be taking place in Orlando on January 30. For more, click here.
