- Traditionally before ECW PPV's, Paul Heyman gives a speech to the crew, however, this was not done at ECW's One Night Stand, which took some by surprise.

- Many wrestlers had hoped to have a larger role or to have more time for their matches on the show because of their desire to wrestle or perform under the ECW banner. Even though several wrestles didn't get that opportunity, they were still happy with the show and more so, happy with a chance to re-unite with long time friends.

- Many people noticed that former ECW wrestlers such as Rick Rude, Louie Spicolli and Brian Pillman were left out of the memories video. The reason for this is that they specifically dedicated the video to wrestlers who had passed away after Extreme Championship Wrestling had closed, as opposed to those who had already been honored during the time of their deaths when the company was running.
