The following tapings took place on Tuesday in Kansas City:

Dark Match:

- Rene Dupree defeated Trevor Rhodes.

WWE Velocity Tapings (Air Date - June 11):

- WWE U.S. Champion Orlando Jordan defeated Hardcore Holly.

- Chavo Guerrero defeated Funaki.

- Danny Basham defeated Nunzio. During the match, Spike Dudley hit the ring and tried to hit the Dudley Dog on Danny, but got thrown over the top. After the match, The Bashams got on the mic and said they would destroy ECW tomorrow night.

- WWE Tag Team Champions MNM defeated Scotty 2 Hotty & Shannon Moore.

WWE SmackDown Tapings (Air Date - June 9):

- The show started with GM Teddy Long in the ring talking about the loss of WWE Champion John Cena to RAW on Monday. Long said that the championship situation would be decided after the end of the draft on June 30. He then announced SmackDown's first draft pick...Chris Benoit. JBL came out and told Benoit that he has seen him win championships all over the world, but said the only thing he has against him was wrestling for ECW. JBL ran down ECW and set up Benoit vs. JBL later in the night. When JBL tried to hit Benoit, Benoit ducked, gave JBL a german suplex and locked on the Crossface. JBL broke out of it and left the ring.

- Carlito defeated Charlie Haas. After the match, Matt Morgan gave Hardcore Holly the F-5.

- WWE Cruiserweight Champion Paul London vs. Akio ended in a No Contest after a minute when Eddie Guerrero came out and took out both. Guerrero cut a promo on Rey Mysterio.

- Heidenreich defeated Rory Foxx.

- Booker T defeated Kurt Angle. Before the match, Angle told Tazz that he wanted his answer on joining his crew to take out the ECW wrestlers this Sunday before SmackDown was over tonight. After losing the match, Angle sat in the corner of the ring for a while. He then left the ring and set up a chair next to Tazz. Angle told Tazz that he wanted an answer or he was going to sit next to him all night. He then hit Tazz with a microphone, busting him open. Tazz was taken to the back and Paul Heyman replaced him on commentary.

- JBL vs. Chris Benoit ended in a No Contest. When Benoit locked JBL in the Crossface, The Cabinet came in to break it up. The ECW crew (Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno & The Dudley Boyz) all hit the ring to make the save. At that point, Kurt Angle, Carlito and Matt Morgan all came in to attack the ECW crew. Tazz's music hit and he came out along with Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten. All three hit the ring, cleaned house on the WWE guys and celebrated to end the show.
